The earth and the sun decide the leap year. Here in south eastern Saskatchewan Canada we don’t follow daylight savings time but I wish we did. It would mean more usable daylight at the end of the day instead of very early morning when people are generally sleeping.
Tip for draining pasta, put the colander in the pot then tilt into the sink, water drains quickly & pasta stays in the pot. Many blessings!💖💖💖
I always cut the tubes open when "empty". Use a small scraper to get 2 to 5 days more product out of the container..

I just learned about 2-nonenal, the smell old people get. Maybe tell about what products work to eliminate it from the skin. Does everyone get the smell at a certain age?
I think it's because of lack of bathing, not washing clothes regularly, not wearing deodorant, medication, peeing themselves and using period pads instead of pee pads, nor washing privates throughout the day and thinking month balls smell good.

Yay CeraVe (Purple Line) Skin Renewing Night Cream! Since using this as my night time moisturizer layer over tretinoin I've had NO flaky skin in the morning & unless I wash my face in the morning (usually not) I can just apply sun screen right away no problem! So yay!
Sophie Kinsella wrote the Shopaholic series of novels. They're light, funny, slice of life type stories kind of like Bridget Jones. If you like British novelists, my favorite was always Maeve Binchy. She's gone now, but her novels are some of the best ever. I would get so engrossed in each one, sometimes reading an entire novel in one weekend.
I love Maeve Binchy as an author as well, Cathy Kelly and Erica James are similar in writing style😀

Canterbury Tales is one of those classics that should be read from time to time. It illuminates who you are. I always liked drinking a bit when I read this. It just shifts your perception and adds to the atmosphere.
I have a pasta pot. I use it for stock as well. I throw a carcass and vegetables or just vegetables in to the “basket” and then I have my stock and I can put everything else in the compost.

Glad you're enjoying some sensory self-care with the TR mask! The sensory part of skincare can really have a big impact in the long term, in regard to improved relaxation, body-mind awareness, cognitive focus, & more. I think you'll even approve of my budget DIY: aloe vera gel mixed with 1/8-1/4 tsp glycerin & a couple drops of cucumber seed oil or squalane. I dont even make a batch of it, i just DiY it in my palm and adjust glycerin & oil as my skin needs it. I really like a 5 min AM mask when i have time, it feels & smells (if i use the cuke oil, it has added fragrance) wonderful, puts a moment of peace in my routine, and adds a bit of hydration. I use the same recipe, plus water, for "humectant gel lotion" and a variety of mists (some get a splash of witch hazel, alc-free, as well, i like the cuke and the rose).

I just finished Great Expectations. It wasn’t all I had hoped.
So I never comment/review things, but I just turned 45 and my lizard brain decided that my skincare “routine” of Dove original beauty bar and Teami face oils and occasional sunscreen application was just way too low budget, efficient, and (re: lazy SPF habits) probably not all that effective. It all started with eye puffiness and actually caring about the issue, so I obviously tried Clinique’s All About Eyes, which is luxurious feeling, but didn’t seem to do all that much. Next up was Cerave’s 2 eye creams, testing out both the purple and blue lines. Both are actually good at reducing morning under eye puffiness, but the winner is the Cerave purple line Skin Renewing Eye Cream with the added bonus that it’s really nice on the lips as well. I am inconveniently one of those people who likes complete sets of things, so I have tried most of the Cerave purple line (thankfully it’s only like 7 products) and it’s great. The night cream is super moisturizing. The gel oil is great. The daytime SPF retinol face cream goes on nicely and doesn’t burn my eyes, which is a main reason I have been so bad about wearing sunscreen. As a skincare newcomer who is lacking in a ton of knowledge and personal product testing, I’ve been really happy with the purple line, especially that it’s affordable, simple, and readily available.

Love the healing ointment! So glad to have learned about it from you, almost finished with my second tub of it (full disclosure, my first tub got confiscated at the airport 😭).
The Gold Bond moisurizer is good but dang it's so thick. I wasn't surprised when you said you've gone through so many tubes of it, because you have to use so much to be able to spread it around on your skin, so it ends up being kind-of expensive. Plus it takes forever because it's so thick. It's like trying to spread peanut butter all over your body lol. I like it, but I need something a little less viscous.
Where I live you come on at 11 & I wish they would do away with daylight savings time altogether! I use the Gold Bond & really like it! Great video, thanks!❤️Have a great weekend!

Dr. Dray, I plan to have some dental work soon, and I always use petrolatum on my lips heavily beforehand. I did the same with a surgery where anesthetic was used and a trache tube to help guard from injured, dry lips. Video thought: Are there other skin care ideas that could help a person prepare for dental work or other surgeries?
She does have videos on how to prevent scars after surgery and one on questions to ask before cosmetic surgery. There are several dental channels that might be able to answer as well.
