You are very fortunate to have a chance to drive this beast. This is really my dream car. I have been watching the reviews of this car over an over from the reviewers abroad and South African reviewers. I love it ❤❤❤
Then we share dream cars as this is one of mine as well, I really didn’t like having to hand it back. Here’s to hoping you get your dreams turn into reality. Thanks for watching
Yes you can its my daily driver and its greatttttttttttt it puts a smile on my face evertime i see it and drive it good review mate also just done 900 miles on motorways and on a A and B roads in the uk and its done 25.3 mpg uk so its not bad on fuel for a such a beast of a car 😊
The alternative could be the 2.0-liter bi-turbo version found in the Wildtrak X, which doesn’t have the same power but is more off-road focused, with the same ground clearance, and instead of Fox Shocks, it has Bilstein units.
It seems like 2nd nature for South Africans to have a bakkie. However very helpful video for everyone shopping around to have the comfort that you can drive a bakkie and all will be well.
Funny thing is, I have been anti-bakkie as a every day car, but the more I use them, the more I realise how practical they can be, with a caveat or two of course.
Your backing music it a tad loud its a little overwhelming when trying to listen to you, content is awesome though,,, love the code orange with the decal pack, unfortunately decal pack no longer available in Australia
They should have kept the option for the 2.0l burturbo (not saying they should eliminate the V6). I get you want "sporty" feel but that fuel economy is just too hectic. I'm sure that fuel economy pushed more people to the Wildtrak X which is a pity
Thanks for watching and commenting, the Tremor is not a bad option at all. Still makes use of the bi-turbo engine, with a more 4x4 focused suspension, so a baby raptor maybe?
That is the big issue here, but I think it’s the same with every other “performance” vehicle, you don’t buy these cars for fuel economy. There are alternatives though which would give you better MPG but not the same performance of course.
It's actually not too bad economy to live with. I've had mine for about 8 months now, and for my work drives, every day, I now average about 12.5L/100km. I think that's really good. I also have the Herrod Performance package, so it's roughly 500hp/780Nm, maybe a little more.

Thank you for the review. Next time make the background music volume low 😉👍🏻

Nice bakkie, cool video. I didn't notice the background music
thanks for watching and appreciate the feedback

roughly 17.5 mpg
So fuel consumption is around 13/14L driving normally? Thinking about buying one 👍
I do.
I'm very close to buying one. I have considered cars such as the Supra, m240i, Nissan Z, even a porsche 718 Cayman. But I am so drawn to this.
That music you’re playing is annoying
Thank you, will mention it to the artist who created it. Appreciate the feedback
I was interested in your opinion but couldn't watch more than 30 seconds. Music too loud.
Noted, will correct in the next ones. Thanks for watching though
Agree!
What a respectful response. A good true South African. I’m sure he’ll correct the music issue in other videos 👌💪🇿🇦
What colour is this raptor sedona orange or code orange
@@KR-xn8xr hi if memory serves me right it was code orange, however I had a Sedona orange before it and it was my favorite.
Background music is way to hard and damn annoying.
@@GerriePretorius-b8f thank you Gerrie for watching and your comments and it was addressed in the next videos.
I can but can you afford 12 mpg gasoline

@@brianjensen5200 WOW, I think you can definitely teach some of us how to manage our fuel economy better
The music SUCKS!
That music in the background is annoying AF
