When I assembled a first miniture mdoel of the F-4E Phantom as a kid half a decade ago, I could never have dreamt of being able to fly it in such realism as with this mod! What a machine!!!
Hmm, Looks like someone didn't do their pre-takeoff checks properly! At 0:55 the canopy lock-rod (round tube) indicator yellow paint marking isn't aligned with the yellow paint stripe (angled slightly from the vertical) under the canopy sill. Obviously whoever modelled the design was inside a real-life aircraft with the canopy up and didn't realise the rod moves position when the canopy is closed. Perhaps a tweak needed to the model next time the devs are looking at it?
On the HSI there are two knobs. The right one adjust the heading needle, the left one adjust the heading bug. How do you engage that? Say I am heading north, I want to head due west. I turn the heading bug to 270. The aircraft doesn't move. How do I engage the HEADING HOLD BUG?
Great tutorial! I haven't messed with the AFIS in my F-4E yet, but I know what I will be doing first thing in the morning!

Good to know. Maybe I'll stop crashing trying to look at f-10 map.
Ty for the publication
