Hey alex, I've been watching some videos about power consuption on ps4 controller, and people complain about the touchpad. i'm finding it hard to know what pin is the one that sends energy to the touchpad do you know what is the one?
No I don't know which one it is. But to find it I would find the connection to the motherboard and start probing the connections with a multimeter. I believe a ribbon cable is connected to the touchpad, so turn on the controller and keep the ground probe on one pin and move the other probe along the other pins. You should get zero volts on all of them except one. Don't press the touch pad while probing because that might one pin go from 0V to 5V or something. If you find multiple pins not at 0V then some of those might power different things like the LED or the touch sensor. I'm not too sure about this, but that's what I would try to do.
