The good thing about this size Porta Bote is that it will fit inside a minivan.... I've done it..... no more lifting to a roof rack and it's more secure. As for the Honda, it's air cooled so I guess it's not as prone to rust from use in salty water. Hope that's true. I plan on getting one.

Is this the 10ft Porta? I bought the 10ft yesterday & paired it with the 6hp Suzuki outboard.
Mine is the porta bote 8. For the 10 is an 6 hp outboard appropriate, I think.
And what is the outcome? Are you satisfied?
Sir you had a short shaft . Can I go long shaft for that boat...???
I never tried a long shaft so I don´t have experience, recommended is short shaft
