- Japan Travel Guide - Top 10 Things to do in Nagoya including Nagoya food tour favorites that you can't miss. Nagoya Japan is an overlooked travel destination, but it's quite an amazing area if you take the time to explore. There are also so many Nagoya foods to eat that I could dedicate and entire video to just Nagoya food specialties, but I wanted to make an overall Nagoya Travel guide including foods to eat in Nagoya. And for those who are coming for the Japan Rugby world cup 2019, don't worry as I'm also included Toyota Stadium in this video. These Nagoya travel tips are a must know before you start your Nagoya sightseeing experiences and I hope will provide tourists with a local's perspective on Nagoya. We'll visiting some some Nagoya hot spots like Osu Shotengai, Nagoya Castle, Nagashima Resort as well as some famous Nagoya restaurants like Yabaton serving their local Nagoya food specialty, Misokatsu.

Why am i Japanese, living in japan and subbed to this guy...I really enjoy your vids keep up the great work👍
cool name
I wish I can be live as japanese in.your country from.philippines😢❤
Nagoya looks like a nice city. Fun fact about Nagoya station, it's the world's largest train station by floor area
Thanks for watching Avery The Cuban-American!
Avery the Cuban-American I swear I see you everywhere lol xD
Tokyo, Osaka, Shinjuku Station: am I a joke to you?😅
@@adrianjapan read it carefully.. he said "by floor area"... 👍
Paolo's expressions are exaggerated and artificial though. No need to try so hard.
I live in Osaka but Nagoya is by far my favorite city in Japan. It has everything a metropolis has, but without hordes of people and stupid rent prices. You can ride around the whole city by bicycle on the sidewalks just like many of other small japanese capitals.
Thanks
Im visiting nagoya but not sure if during winter or cherry blossom season is there hidden gem you can recommend?
Hi. I’m Japanese.
Your wonderful video helps my English study.
I live in Nagoya! I love Nagoya!
I'm glad you introduced me to Nagoya.
Thank you!
I’ll be heading to Nagoya in March for school. I’ll be there for 2 yrs
I just got to Nagoya and i love it
Nagoyan: There's not really anywhere you can go in Nagoya
Paolo: Hold my Miso
I'm dying!
Yeah, nagoyan should really try to live in my city & they'll understand the true meaning of nowhere to go lol
Everyone says that here. Lol. But it’s actually fun, not just known majorly.
yeah, i live in Nagoya and when i read the title...was like : wait...there is 10 things to do here lol ?
この人、日本人より上手く街の魅力を引き出してるよな〜
A few more things to do around Nagoya and Toyota:
1. Science Museum
2. Nagoya Art Museum
3. Toyota Art Museum
4. Okazaki Castle
5. Inuyama Castle (Original build)
6. Asahi Beer factory tour
7. Kirin Beer factory tour
8. Eat at Yabachan
9. Catch a Dragons game
10. Oasis 21
11. NHK TV Tower
12. Visit the CoCo Ichiban museum
Also, as Paulo said, if you're going to Toyota Stadium for a RWC match it's a good 15 - 20 min walk. Unless you're unable to do the walk or have a disability, I highly suggest not driving as car parking is tough. The walk up is fun and a pretty cool atmosphere.
You might’ve just talked me into visiting Nagoya 😂 I’d love to go to Asahi and Kirin
Dining on the train platform with the broadcasting in the background is a vibe. Doing last minute homework before flying to Nagoya tomorrow. Would love to try this
名古屋一番好きだ!!!
Thanks for featuring Nagoya!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for this video, Paolo. I know it’s 4 years old but I still found it super helpful. Love your channel. Keep being inspired.
I live in Nagoya. This is a good summary of Nagoya! I could have shown you around for areas no tourists know about! And, I am a volunteer with the RWC!
What cool areas do you know about that tourists won't visit?
Answer Tomos Norman's question. Maybe you are not who you say you are. Do you even live in Japan...
@@colors6692 dude calm down. I didn’t see the reply. Geeze.
I'm going to Japan in three months and just recently discovered your channel. I want to take two minutes to say thanks for sharing all those tips. I've learned a lot by watching your videos. They are informative and very entertaining at the same time. Thank you!
I got back from Nagoya last week. There’a plenty to do! Nagoya castle, Toyota museum, Science museum, art museum, NHK TV Tower.
You can see different Vlog of Nagoya after COVID-19.

hey I'm moving there next year by any chance do you have instagram, i just wanna ask a few questions
“Have fun storming the castle” is a quote from my favorite movie The Princess Bride. lol.
Hey Paolo, your guide videos like this one are super super helpful and I love that you leave the list in the description. It makes planning my trips so easy and I know that you could leave them out to force more watchtime on your videos so I just wanted to say thank you so much :D
Love how a Filipino-American living in Japan is doing a better job than the Japan Rugby Football Union and JTB for promoting Japan. Top vid.
The one thing I would recommend in Nagoya is the flower/light parc named Nabano no Sato! You can get there by bus. It's a magical place during Spring (flower parc) and Winter (illuminations parc). I proposed to my girlfriend here.
I just found your channel a few days ago. Your videos are super amazing! I was born and raised around Nagoya. And now i've been living in US with American husband. My in-laws have been to Tokyo but not Nagoya. You gave me many ideas to show Nagoya to my family someday soon. Thank you so much!
I went nagoya 4 years ago.
City looked peacful and so beautiful.
So perfect place to go travel!!
Nagoya is the best. The misokatsu is sooo goood. Everyone is so nice there
This video came just in time! I'm going to Japan soon and I couldn't really find any good videos about Nagoya.
Thanks Paolo!!!
Great video on Nagoya Japan 👍💯🤩 Big
thumbs up👍💯🤩 Thanks for sharing👏🤩👍
wow you're literally so happy all the time
This is awesome! I'm in Nagoya for two months and really needed this condensed information! Thank you!
In 2016, I travelled to Nagoya and visited many of the places shown in this video. I can confirm that the Misokatsu at Yabaton is really delicious.
Ive lived in Nagoya for almost 6 years; this is spot on. There is absolutely nothing to do in this boring town. And yes, its just a big town, its not a city. The fact that almost everything on this list is food or places not even in Nagoya (Toyota/Nagashima) shows how little there is to do. Its very convenient for getting to other places but thats it. Oh and the locals are known for being the cheapest and least friendly in Japan. Dont waste any time visiting Nagoya.
@shotaro1321 you are damn right planning to go through Nagoya all the way to toyama. This is a useful video, so i can decide how long to stay in Nagoya
Oof, looks like i need to reschedule then, i planned to stay for two nights. And im in this video because i have been struggling go find places, unlike Tokyo and Osaka
and Nagoya doesn’t want you too🤪❗️
you sound like a 3rd world shthole retard and which shit hole city are from?
I love that you and John from ONLY in JAPAN are friends. Do a collab on here
@Advant Garde hahahaha😂😂😂 fucking brilliant
I hope you and south korea are reunite again
Thanks, Paolo and Myka!!
Whilst planning my trip to Japan for next year, I kept hoping you would make a video about Nagoya, as I’m intending on going for a couple days! What a good day to find out that you have!
Thank you for doing this video! I've been wanting to check out Nagoya for the longest time but a client of mine, who went to university there claimed that THERE'S NOTHING TO DO THERE! Thanks for proving her wrong. Love your channel!
Hiii Paolo, I just wanted to give you a ginormous thank you for an informative and incredibly fun video!! I'm going to Nagoya for uni this September and even though I've researched and read a tiring number of travel sites about Nagoya, your video was an absolute joy to watch, especially helpful because you included the prices as welll! Thank you agaiiin and I can't waiiit to visit all these places!! x
How awesome, I loved this 🙌🏼 thank you.
I just discovered your channel, man, and I'm loving your vlogs. Keep it coming!
I cannot wait for the Rugby 🏉 world cup in Japan 🇯🇵 this year!
Its amazing how affordable traditional food there is.
One word to describe the food in this video. Yum.
This is great and fun to watch. Thank you! very enjoyable.

Paolo, your vlogs always deliver. Always!
Never fails...❤️❤️❤️ thank you for sharing
Thank you Paolo for showing some great places I need to visit next time we visit my wife's family in Nagoya where she was born and raised.
Ive now been there 3 times from Perth Western Australia. My 4 son year old loved the Anpanman children's museum which is also a big attraction at the Nagashima Spaland resort but maybe only for folks with young kids. Cant wait for this Covid crap to be over so we can visit amazing Japan again.
Just in love with your day in the life shoots.❤😃
Going this summer! Can’t wait!
Awesome video, i've never considered visiting Nagoya until this video, now i need to try those dishes
