  • This video will go through the unboxing and the build of a Bosch router table.
The Bosch RA1181 benchtop router table provides a large work surface for precision and versatility.
With two adjustable featherboards producing extra kickback control, the 15-Amp Bosch Bench Top Router Table provides a solid, durable work surface.
The Bosch adjustable router table measures 25.5 inches wide and 15.8 inches long, stands 14.5 inches from the floor and weighs 30 pounds. Its size easily supports larger work pieces. A pre-drilled 27-inch by 16-inch molded aluminum mounting plate lets you secure a variety of different routers.
The plate also remains rigid for increased accuracy. The bench features a front panel On/Off switch with a security lock for your safety, as well as storage and cord pockets. Clean up debris conveniently with the dust port, which connects to 2 1/2-inch vacuum hoses.
Attach additional equipment with the dual power outlets.

I bought the Kobalt router table. Came with the router also liked the table is flat and no insert to mess with. I had the one u had and the top was so warped. The Kobolt also has the riser key so u can raise the router from the top on the table. I also liked the fence on the Kobolt more. The table work area is bigger on the Kobolt one also. I got mine on sale for $69.00. I also like it has a router that u can remove if u don't have multiple routers like I got. Mine just stays on that table. Because I've got other routers I use.

Sounds like a great deal. Also a lot of great information in your comment. The Bosch also has a key to raise and lower the router from the table as well.

I checked the specs, Bosch has a bigger table. I am looking at buying this router table but decided against Kobalt because there is no speed adjustment. $69 is a good price though…

Lots of reviews of this table bash the flatness of the aluminum top. Have you seen this issue at all?

Could you tell me where the holes are supposed to be counter sinked on the fencing for the dust collection port, I think mine are wrong, thank you

So I took my fence off my router table tonight and the screws that hold on the dust collection port sit between the grove underneath the fence and the nuts hold it together from the top.

@@HilltopSierra Thank you, could you tell me if yours is countersunk on the bottome or top of fence for the vacuum port, mine is on the top and I think that is wrong since that is where the nuts go

Which way is your dust port facing? Should be facing the back. I can see if you turn the dust port facing up as it does fit you would run into issues with the fence.

Why didn’t you show how to attach the festherboards!? Seems like everyone leaves that out and it’s the only part I need to see. It doesn’t seem like the spacers provided fit in the t-slot. They just fall out. Why do an assembly vid and only do 90%. So dumb
