Bosch RA1181 Router Table Unboxing and Assembly Tips

I bought the Kobalt router table. Got it for $69.00 on sale. It came with the router too. Also has a great fence system and the table top is good too. What I liked about it is u don't have to adjust an insert for it. The table itself is where u mount the router, it also has the top ajustment too. So u can raise the router by a key. The only con is no storage compartment on it. But over all its a good router table. I also like I can keep the router mounted to the table and use my other Bosch router for sign making and its more convent like that.

I’ve had mine for a few months now. You’re right by far the biggest pain was to level that insert. I got it close but it’s not perfect. I also went over all the painted edges with maybe 800 grit sandpaper which smoothed out the table top roughness

Hallo , I have a question. My router is a Triton TRA 001, is it compatible with the Bosch Router Table?

Bosch has a web page of technical details on the RA1181 which includes information on which routers the RA1181 is compatible with . You can find the page here: www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/router-tables-ra1181-27744-p/
Unfortunately, at least at the time of this posting, it does not mention Triton routers. Maybe if you know the mounting plate pattern of another router with which you are familiar, this information could be helpful. Or you may be able to find a blog post specifically about your model of router and whether or not it is compatible with the RA1181 mounting plate. Good luck! Let me know what you find out.

Are you serious. I sat through 5 minutes of bla just for you to jump cut to it being assembled. Cool. So I'll just read the manual, was hoping to watch someone put it together but that isn't this.

So to answer your first question, sometimes I am serious and sometimes I like to joke around. So a little bit of both, I would say. The first few minutes you refer to as "bla" are the unboxing which I think is a valuable kind of content. It lets folks who are considering purchasing the router table know they will get if they order it. I am sorry that the video didn't meet your expectations. There is another channel - Northwest Craftsman - who did video the assembly with some voice over. Maybe that will be helpful.
