Here in uae, SUVs are more respected and loved than a supercars. Special ones are Nissan patrol y61, Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series, g wagons and Suzuki jimny
Because luxury cars can't get you to safety if a situation arises where you're stick in sand IMO.
Yeah when living in Abu Dhabi which is close to Dubai, places like these existed, people often abandoned cars in parking lots too.

It barely rains in Dubai.
Maybe 5-6 days of rain. There's no point having a full fledged drainage system when you call in some tanker trucks and get the job done.

I know a lot of stolen cars that get stolen in japan end up in the middle east, cars like r34 gtr's, supra's, etc. No idea if it is the same with luxery cars, but the fact most off them are cut in half seems kinda fishy to me.
