Really wish you had a sound clip of the BPV demonstrating the sound with all screws... and then with out them. Maybe even a sound clip with just 1 screw removed. I am reluctant to buy the BPV because I don't know what it will sound like.

Hi! The number of screws does not affect the performance or efficiency, only the amount of noise and air vented. With the design, a majority of the charged air is recirculated even with all holes opened. Hope this helps!

Running our BOV adapter will not effect the fuel trim or throw a code for a couple of different reasons. The biggest reason is due to the way Ford tunes their USDM turbocharged cars. The USDM Ecoboost engines are MAP tuned, whereas in the rest of the world they use MAF tuning. This changes the way the ECU meters air going into the motor. In a MAF tuned car, the fuel trims would be affected by venting to atmosphere, however on a MAP tuned car like yours, the ECU is not affected by venting to atmosphere. In short, you've got nothing to worry about!
The vehicle uses a complex method of MAP and MAF sensors to monitor what the vehicle is doing with incoming and outgoing air. The spring pressure we use in our BOV was carefully chosen so that the vehicle's operation is not negatively impacted from running this BOV. There is no stuttering, no increased turbo lag, and no check engine lights from running our BOV. The stock BPV features very poor construction and is made from cheap plastic and rubber and features a very flimsy spring. Our valve has aircraft grade billet aluminum, a brass piston, and Viton O-rings and is tested to 100 PSI to ensure leak free operation. All of our BOVs also carry a lifetime warranty to the original owner.
We don't offer a direct replacement for the 2017 2.0 escape at this time. The clearance between the oil pan and the stock BPV is just too close for comfort. With the way the motor rocks back and forth, the oil pan is very likely to hit the BPV.

Our adjustable BPV has venting adjustments. The spring rate is set, with no need for adjustment.

Due to the way the Ford units operate, it won't make quite the same amount of "fluttering" that is commonly heard with our WRX units.

The bolt patterns are the same, yes. However the clearance between the BPV and oil pan are extremely close.
