SCP-001 also known as Grand Zeno, is a Above God level threat. If ever encountered tread with extreme caution. One should never anger SCP-001 as the anomaly has been known to wipe out entire universes and realities. SCP-001 also commands a legion of SCP-001-B, and SCP-001-C.
All SCP-001-B are the children of the Master Chief of the legion, SCP-001-A also known as the Grand Priest. SCP-001-B must be met with caution, but tend to be non-hostile, they are known to travel with and accompany SCP-001-C, Destroyer.
While SCP-001-B have been known to be non aggressive, SCP-001-C who they accompany must under no circumstances be angered, treat with extreme caution, if angered SCP-001-C’s have been known to destroy planets and even galaxies. If personnel are met with such circumstances, try appeasing the entity with food.
You should watch SCP Illustrated, The Bismarck, When day breaks, and SCP 682 vs (Insert random SCP). SCP Illustrated is more about informative and tells great SCP stories and puts great work into it. Please watch him. SCP Illustrated has been working hard and is greatly underrated.

Yeah, SCP ILLUSTRATED is a great channel for this stuff. TheVolgun is also pretty good for this stuff, though he doesn’t have any art or animations in his videos. He does have a lot of variety, though. TheVolgun has covered many SCPs, and if you just want to learn what an SCP is all about, he’s who I’d go to. Illustrated includes nearly as much information, if not just as much, but includes artistic impressions.
What about SCP Explained-Story and Animation? They're good too.

Potentiallly aggressive towards anyone who comes close to it, the senior researcher Huxtable discovered that it's aggressiveness was because it had the mind of todler and it was constantly stressed and afraid. So, the researcher started making tests with screens, words and a D class sent to Interact with it. Eventually, the creature developed a taste for music and cooking, which lowered it's stress levels, and at a calmer state, it even befriended the D class who was usually sent into it's cell, who in turn, further teached the creature more about cooking and music, and now the once thought to be murderous mosnter was cooking the finest meals for the Foundation staff during Thanksgiving and even playing it's own compositions during dinner, and it's stress levels were completely reduced to zero.

IF you want to go into further detail about each scp in the foundation I recommend TheVolgun's SCP videos. His videos not only show extremely detailed descriptions of the scp's and their containment but also classify their history with the foundation in amazing detail.
You NEED to react to "The SCP Mobile Task Forces" and "The Mobile Task Forces Field Codes" by SCP Illustrated, as it talks more about the military side of things of the SCP Foundation which I think you might like.
Fun fact: SCP Illustrated was in "SCP:Overlord" as the voice of Scepter 1/team leader.

Quick tip.
When you play SCP Containment Breach.
Always look at the signs outside of rooms, they give you a bit of a warning of what's inside. You might accidently enter a very dangerous room, with a very angry creature.
You just wait until you encounter this SCP from the SCP Cointainment Breach that you're playing LOL

3:23 SCP-096 most likely suffers from Scopophobia: "The fear of being looked at or seen" this may or may not be the case and 096 could just be an anomaly that responds to being seen and takes action due to its nature or some other reason.

At the end when he showed the picture of scp 096 and he said "if you start hearing any bangs now" someone knocked at my door and I was terrified lol
Not gonna lie, this SCP is probably one of my favourites for just how insane it is.
On the website they did another one of the test logs, essentially they got locked some D class in a submarine at the bottom of the ocean and showed him a picture of shy guy and asked them to draw a picture of shy guys face.
After a little bit the D class started saying how he was feeling uncomfortable and didn't want to be there anymore.
Though obviously guy didn't have much choice.
Meanwhile shyguy tore through his containment chamber, escaped and ran towards the guys location. Dove into the ocean and swam down the submarine (clearly not giving a fuck about water pressure or needing to breathe) and straight up killed the guy.
Shy Guy doesn't mess around. ;D
By and large the SCP wiki has moved away from "scary kill monsters" like 096 - and with good reason - but I still think that 096 is one of the top-tier SCPs. Simple concept that becomes more terrifying the more you think about it, particularly in the age of the internet. This one really stuck with me.
6:22 in the text that the film was based off, 096 caused a ton more destruction including an SCP gunship that tried to mow it down. News reports that found the gunship near the highway claims that they have found no remains.

The foundation actually has “scrambler goggles “ where any instance of its face while wearing the goggles will then cause the goggles to censor 096s face. I haven’t watched the short film yet but if they were wearing goggles or Night Vison goggles they were probably using scrambler goggles.
About the people in the chopper air footage, there was a square following it probably covering him and make him easier to follow.
682 is a real demon, a litteral planet eater, he is my favourite SCP, it has a staggering kill count, countering the Old man, the plague doctor and the statue. Definitely watch him.

when you said 'in the short film the people bombing it in the helicopter would have seen 096's face' or something like that, the pilot of the jet as well as the screens has 'SCRAMBLER goggles', which is a invention by a scientist in the foundation that scrambles 096's face before it can reach human eye. These scramblers also are uploaded to the jet's window thing.

For the first one, the person who sees the picture will have to come back to Earth eventually and then they'll get killed. As for the second, it's believed that the shy guy is actually blind.

I thought shy guy can jump very high, once jumping up into an airplane to get someone. So maybe or probably he can jump into low earth orbit and get you. Then he needs to return back into earth.

The doctor's name is Doctor Dan. He was the designer of the SCRAMBLER goggles. He purposefully made them fail so it would encourage the termination of SCP-096.
In actual logs on the SCP wiki, the choppers persuing 096 were swiped out of the air mid pursuit because they saw its face

There's more to SCP-096 then you think. SCP-096 was actually once a human being that Encountered another SCP. And through months , or even years of being trapped on top of this mountain, and refusing the promise of death from this mysterious SCP, the only way the "Guy" survived was by getting as mad and as violent as possible! And thus, the Shy Guy was born. The Shy Guy also can't be stopped by anything once enraged. Steel walls, brick walls, a mine field, nuclear bunker, not even being HUNDREDS of Feet BELOW in the ocean can stop SCP-096.
Either reason why people chopper were killed because they were project scramble you see if you look very closely you may see that some of the project scramble gear works but some of the others don't which is why the project has been deemed a failure

There are so many great and interesting SCP stories, damn...
they put scp 096-1 on the moon, and 096 still reached and killed the subject, they proceeded to do the same on other orbital bodies, extending as far as pluto, and at every instance, 096 reached and eliminated the target at speeds which exceed comprehension

Within SCP-5000 a suit of armor from a different universe/dimension containes files from that universe and how the SCP Foundation suddenly wanted to exterminate the human race, one of the tactics they used was posting 096's face on various social media platforms.

Confinement by Lord Bung is a great SCP animated story. It’s currently a few episodes long.
You should watch SCP 5000 Why? or SCP-1730 - What Happened to Site-13? the full stories from SCP Explained, those are really well known tales of the SCP universe, I highly recommend them, they are really long videos but I really think you will love them.

The video by TheVolgun is way more informative and interesting than the video you chose to watch. Along with more accurate containment procedure and description, it goes though testing and incident reports, as fully voice acted interwiews of various scp personnel. Volguns videos are even presented as if they were in-universe introductions to various scps meant for training of new foudation personnel. Much more entertaining, and much more content.
He has also made an introduction video to the scp universe, which contains explanations to many details and tropes that are frequent in scps.

It's only when you see 096's face that it gets angry, the back of it's head is fine, hence why the footage from the plane in that short film was from behind without 096 being angry
Also, the pilot was probably using radar and thermal readings to determine his position
The only way to be able to see its face and not be affected or killed by it is to get someone else to look at it and draw a picture of its face. As long as its not an actual video or photo you're fine.
Scp-1417 is also a interesting one, however I think it is a fan made scp. But what it does is very interesting

In the short movie that you saw before, there was a few scenes where helicopters were following 096 while it was running towards its target. The cameras & such on the chopper only got views *from behind* so 096 didn't trigger on them during the chase. 096 was able to outpace the chopper because its target was initially quite far away, so it was able to run considerably faster than its usual 35km/hr; 096's maximum speed is classified & redacted from its file. The further the target is from 096, the faster it can move.
096 has even been known to jump far up into the air to catch an airplane *in flight* because its target was in there.
In another case, someone saw a picture of 096 while in a bathysphere at a depth of 10,800 meters; 096 doesn't need air because his containment chamber is airtight & it was able to swim down in the ocean to the bathysphere & didn't need air for the whole incident. as 096's target was a tattoo artist, he was tasked to look at photos of 096 & then draw the likeness...This is how they found out that artistic renditions don't trigger 096's rage state. Of course, this is how they explain how various TH-cam content-creators can animate 096 or even use 3D modeling for making movies...096's *actual face* isn't shown. So no, looking up 096 images will not show any actual photos or videos, only artistic interpretations based upon that (deceased) tattoo artist's drawings. The SCP Foundation puts a lot of effort into finding & eliminating photographic images...Indeed, that short movie happened to accomplish that, when that one guy scratched off a part of a photograph before 096 got to him.
BTW, next time your wife wants to have pictures taken, show her some of the lore about 096 & what it does when someone sees its face...That might be enough to dissuade her.

Actually one thing has survived 069 it is the hard to kill lizard they battles till they were swimming in blood but eventually they both stopped and went to different corners of the remove until retrieved
