Yes. His quick thinking saved a lot of lives. If he were alive and I in charge, I would have made him in charge and given him a medal. His memory should be remembered.
That soldier was quick on scratching out the picture like that. When i first saw it I orginally thought "No good ruining the picture mate, destroying it won't save you, erasing it doesn't mean he will stop chasing you, once you see his face your dead! It's unavoidable!" but no...he knew that the picture was a trigger and in the last act of bravery of knowing this secret he scratched away the picture before anyone else can be harmed by this creature should they stumble into finding it and accidently look at it. He died saving more lives than he may think.

As lore has it that all MTF members are recruited from all SF units worldwide, king is the right word, as he made a fast, but intelligent, decision, the kind expected of Delta/DEVGRU/SAS/SBS, to name but four with international renown, with even further Selection, likely based on the lines of the CIA's ultra-secretive SAD/SAC - SOG (aka Josh Brolin/Jeffery Donovan's characters in the 'Sicario' series). So, likely to be a tough, seasoned, warrior, but smart with it ... he may even have been a PJ, whose motto is the famous "That Others Shall Live" ...
Hes an mtf after all. There is only so many things you can train a mortal man to do. Loyalty and bravery are one of the few things that a solider can improve on significantly enough to fight anomalies
An SCP tv series would honestly be insane. Just imagine an entire season with each episode showing these anomalies being captured only for it to lead to events of security breach.
Yeah, in theory it sounds good, but knowing the people We have in TV, they’d find a way to ruin it somehow, make it look cheap or cheesy, or infect it with their woke crap.
I absolutely LOVE the doctors acting. His acting outshines the interviewer. He truly sells it that he is dealing with something impossible, from how he flinches when they show him the image to the news his co worker had died despite causing all the chaos.
Nine-Tailed Fox: •Elite security squad tasked with the re-containing of strange creatures, objects and materials at their most deadly, destructive and anomalous state. •Armed to the teeth with ammunition, explosives, and guns featuring high stopping-power. •Possibly the most well-trained and disciplined military force on Earth. 096: •Lanky lad. Needs more protein. •Really bad case of anxiety, please don't look at him weird. •Bullets won't work, Jon. The NTF apparently can't grasp this concept.
I know that this isn't a real thing but the way this has been made, details of 096, the scrambler goggles, even going down to the general effects of the scrambler goggles make it look real. This short film needs to be longer than it is because it's that good.
The special effects with the plane shooting the machine from the plane in the desert was amazing. The sound editing was also unreal. So impressive for a short film like this.
"We're a bit disorganised" Ethics Committee at its best: pretending to be bumbling and disorganised while actually holding the real power at the foundation...
You forgot how many people claim there is no ethics committee. So not only do they have the real power, but they also exist with most people unaware of their existence!
I have immense respect for the last soldier to die. He saw 096 become agitated and realized he was the cause. Rather than run or scream or hide, he immediately went to work on making sure it doesn't spread any further, even knowing he wouldn't survive the aftermath.

@@athenakilgore2396 did Asgore let you use his computer? Go back playing with Asriel.
Imagine a SCP series with a high ass budget, and good actors.. That would be so COOL
We can do it, we have the technology! Myself and other 096 crew are currently Kickstarting shorturl.at/crMS3 our pilot for a SCP Series right now! We have other SCP content over at th-cam.com/users/darkmathfilms
@@henrywalther8833 wait really?

John Cabott ?!?!???? Secret Laboratory???? Containment Breach?????
Hollywood apparently not that smart...this entire concept is a gold mine....no, a fucking platinum mine
Everyone’s talking about the heroic soldier who scratched out the picture before dying to prevent anyone from seeing it, but no one is talking about the people who had to blur out 096’s face multiple times in the found footage video. Respect goes to them as well.
Everybody gangsta till albino enderman has a mental breakdown
Lmaooo albino enderman lol

At least I think that way
That last MTF realized what was happening the Moment 096 started to freak out and his first thought is "I need to stop others from seeing this" instead of his own survival. A real hero!
I don't think he was gonna survive anyway lol
if youve seen 96’s face, you are already dead. there is no escaping it at that point
Not a single person has survived and seen his face

When I watched the trailer a couple months ago, I was thinking that it was as close as we'd get to a professional-grade SCP visualization, but _this_ is beyond my wildest expectations.
Not only did you manage to actually get this done into a completed short movie, stayed true to the original SCP and got all the details right that an SCP nerd would have spotted when done wrong. And everything is professional movie grade, acting, scenery, composition, effects - and most important: Despite knowing the original scip, I was sitting at the edge of my chair and felt the shivers like it's the first time I've heard about 096.
This is the reference by which all SCP-movies have to be measured from now on - very well done and thank you very much for this!
I love scp and I have nothing against the positive comments but I haven’t filled my nit picking asshole agenda for today so I’ma just going to say that in the og document they inform him of his termination and give him a time limit... my work here is done
The only thing I didn't love about the movie was 096 himself. I'm too used to hearing his screams from SCP: Containment Breach that, well, the screams in this just don't fit for me. Not to mention the animating was...Well, it was GOOD, but it could have been better.
The actor for Dr. Daniels is really good. His name is James Fitzgerald and I can't find anything else he is in.
@@alexrva433 I think it would have been too much so they toned it down a notch. But yeah it would have been bloody awesome to have that OG nightmare fuel
Though i have one very small complaint, The scream didn't sound really like 096, It should have been a bit higher pitched, It was still the best SCP movie out there though!
