interesting. maybe ive been playing him all wrong. I do not take deal with the devil. highway to hell is my go to. I use that take a weker model for a ride away from the frey and daze it. or a tough slow one like magneto is just out for a round now. In midnight sons
I do absolutely love highway for models like Magneto especially, I find Deal is a really good deterrent from just killing ghost rider, since as far as 5's go he's not super bulky, something to note is sometimes it can feel like a wasted card because if they never try to kill him, you'll never play it, but it's value is kinda that layer of protection on him that tells your opponent it's pointless to even try.
This was very informative as a new player, can you do one for hulkbuster soon? I'm really trying to find a way to play him but he seems underwhelming for a 6 threat; maybe I'm missing something?
He's a tricky piece to get right, I won't pretend I have crazy amounts of experience with him, but I'll do my best to slot him in somewhere in November!
I have considered bringing him in the new Doc Ock foes. They attack another model ghost rider gains a power and that model gains an extea power. They dont want to deal with that they attack ghost rider he just gets extra power. The only concern i have is it would be hard to fit him in with any kind of dice fixing and two threat as foes don't have acces to either in affiliation.
Definitely sounds like a fun synergy if you can pull it off, I don't think he NEEDS dice fixing too bad, so if you can run a couple 3 threat foes with him, that's a 15 threat core, and then flavour in a 2 or swap out 4s as needed. Kinda causes a situation where your opponent really just doesn't wanna punch anything, and that can be great.
@@ZetroxWargaming yeah Mysterio and lizard are great with him as one will be punched a bunch before he goes down and the other is super annoying to hit so will be healthy for deal with the devil.
