- In this video we are delving into one of my favorite DAWs for iPad - Loopy Pro. This app is a loop based DAW, allowing you to live perform and record songs on the fly, as well as arranging, tweaking and perfecting your music as in any other DAW.
Feel free to drop a comment in the comment section if you have any questions about this app. (I am not affiliated with, or receive any compensation for reviewing, the Loopy App)

Clearly presented info on how to get started with Loopy Pro - just what I was looking for!
Me too
This is helping me heaps . Thank you so much 🙏
Excellent video - thanks
Thanks! Very useful video 🙏
Thanks for your video, perfect Step by step for beginners like me.
Congrats
Thank you so much. That has helped me a lot.
I'm glad to hear that! Thank you!
thanks so much for this video :)
Very clear lesson
Except the auto Focus issue on camera - Please disable that mode bro will be much easier to watch in future vids , thanks for vid
Best Step into loopy pro Video I have seen. Really comprehensive with a beautiful melody becoming something special
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for this great overview 😊 Loved the fact that you were making a beat/ song while explaining the features. Also, the video had a well planned structure. God bless you and your work. 😊🙏❤
Subbed as well. 😊
I bought this today before I saw your video. I thought it was a simple looper, Mind-blowing.
Great! Thanks!
Thank you. I write software myself and in trying to write some simple songs with multiple instruments, i found it so cumbersome and if you asked me I'd have asked for exactly this. Create a series of building blocks independently, and put them together in a separate context with a timeline like a movie maker. Voila. The DAWs usually combine both tasks into one, which is wrong for my purposes (though not for many others of course).
This vídeo is simple but great ! Exactly what i need to know about this ! Thank you so much ! I have a big question , how works importing stems to the daw? Is possible?
Thank you very much for this really helpful video. I'm at the very beginning of playing around with my Akai MPK Mini play and don't have a great knowledge of how to use it with any DAW. And here you showed in a slow and simply way how to use this app. May I ask why you don't use Garageband which is free on the iPad and has a looper as well?
Amazing. The travel possibilities are cool with this. Thank you.
Very interesting! I'm guessing that extra outboard instruments are connected via midi and can be controlled via foot controller for turning parts of loop on/off during live performance?
Thanks a lot for the great video!
I like your chilled music style, how you performed the examples 👍
How is it possible, that you didn’t pick up the sound of a metronome? Or your breathing? 😊
Best regards?
Thank you! So by using the Zoom H6 as a microphone and audio interface I can have the metronome only be audible through the headphones, so that the microphone doesn't pick up on it. I recommend not using the device's microphone, because since it's designed to pick up everything, it will also pick up a lot of noise.
@@flundlip thank you 🙏
I thought to get a bluetooth mike consisting of 3 parts. 2 x sender and 1 x receiver. Such a sender I would clip on the body of an acoustic guitar and stick a receiver part to the IPad with loopy pro. Hopefully it will work. (May be it could be a new topic for your next video with some hardware affiliate links :). Sure if it suites in your project pipeline.
Very nice channel with a valuable Information about loopy pro!
I am glad I found it 🍀
So at the end of the video when you were drawing the arrangement in, is there actually a way to preempt the insert, so it automates befire you've even played a note. I am trying to do the Elise trowe everlong thing on anythiog in the world but ableton. Automating in Ableton is not fun, the dots before the lines, the boxes, just yuk, but can i automaqte in loopy pro. To this date its been the best looper ive ever used, but no one seems to be able to give me a realm answer. Cheers for the vid.
Wondering how some NI Keyboards or Steven Slate Drums would play with this run on a.n iPad Pro with an M2
This was where i was confused in midi theme. Only one question left. Can you add a midi sequencer app to drive a synth app on same channel? If would be possible i suppose you need to record into audio in loopy pro to use it on timeline.
*can you change the tempo/speed of the sound you loop on that app?*
Is it possible to do overdubbing on the same track?
What version IPad do you need to run Loopy pro?
How do you export/ share a template?
So, you explain all the obvious stuff that I could see from a glance anyway…but how the heck did you set it up to have a one bar metronome start cue? I can’t seem to get that anywhere.
What spect ipad needed?
bro can you please record this sgain man the auto focus issue is the worst I've seen made me feel sick and is just hard on the eyes , i watched a bit but i couldn't watch anymore bro , i really need to see this video , thanks for vid but please post again with out that auto focus
I am glat that I gave this a second chance. I nearly gave up at the beginning because of the tight editing of your dialogue but at least most of your video avoided that awful style and you mostly sounded like a real person. info was good. Thanks for taking the time to share it. Please don't fall for that stupid trend of starting next sentences as soon as the previous one ends. It's even more annoying than the relentless adverts on youtube lately.
Can't get it for Android
nevermind found this video of yours :)
This only works with Ipad's & Iphones ?
Yes, unfortunately
Pretty sure it’s on pc too
How can I make it stop when going from one loop to the next?
If I understand the question properly, you can set the loop you want to stop to be at the same channel (or color) as the loop your going to next
How about none cause u can only record input in mono, no thank you
No one ever underrrated it, period.
Drums are lame
Oh yeah. I guess they are. Thanks for pointing that out
Man, this is a nice intro video, but for the love of god, that auto-focus is terribly disorienting... I'm literally getting a headache looking at the video, it's really annoying...
You’re right. Sorry about that man. Had a new camera and wasn’t aware until I was done filming
Android alternative?
