the camp is amazing, theres the teachers (who are all the pros) and there’s the students which is everyone else that goes to learn from the pros. there are many performances from the pros and even battles. some of the students can battle too! Also if you want to see more from the camp i suggest you check out the Beatbox Allstars battle
That sounds incredible. Did you go? I'd love to know how to sign up or where to get more info. I'll absolutely check out the allstars battle too. thank you for watching and thank you for hooking us up with the info.
Funny that you mention Vocoder at 8:17 because one of the best beatboxers in the world right now, Vocodah who used to go as Audical uses a similar style of throat bass to the beatboxer you were referencing and changed his name to Vocodah recently due to experimenting on the 505 with Vocoder.
right on thank you for watching it. we'll absolutely watch the allstar jam. I'm excited about it. It's been on our list for a bit. We're going in order as a respect to everyone that makes suggestions. Even my own requests go to the queue. 😊
thank you very much for saying that, that means a lot. Especially on days when I sit here for a few hours and clip out the songs we put up all week. I appreciate you.
One of the best questions "What is ESH mean"~ It's basically a chant or a cheer they use to celebrate a good beat or a good collaboration or something among those lines
it was originally used by the legendary French beatboxer, faya braz, who used esh (derived from a French word, I’m not French so idk) as a greeting between beatboxers but it grew rapidly and expanded, especially through beatbox meme outlets such as Eon (swishbeatbox), and is now both a meme (refer to “what is the meaning of esh”) and a way to communicate across language barriers
wow, that is amazing, thank you both for the answers. I appreciate you and your time. We are totally not professionals and are only enthusiasts so anything we learn is fantastic, thank you. Here in america in the part we live in we don't have as much access to an international beatbox community so we have to learn on the internet. Thank you though
Wow, thank you so much for saying that. That is really kind and really makes this fun knowing people like what we're doing. I appreciate you for taking time to watch us and to say that. We will totally be reacting to solo battles, we have a huge list of reactions is there any particular ones you would recommend we start with? I'll add them to our list.
I’ve been watching a lot of beat box and I’m so glad I found you guys in my recommended! I really enjoyed the video. I think you should check out tomazacre, he sounds like a demon!
I was thinking about this comment today on my drive home, thank you again for saying these kind words. Paul and I are very excited about this journey we are on and super excited about making content we both enjoy thoroughly. 😊
@@JetpackSuperheroes yeah ..... Its one of the most used professional mics in the world...They pick up bass well and it's one of the best mics for beatboxing and recording videos. If you use a mixer it sounds the very good and give you studio like quality at like 350 dollars whereas other studio quality mics cost more than twice as much. But for a show or when u are on a stage , the stage mics wld be preferable.
Ok, thank you for the suggestion I'll add it to the list. :) I've been looking into other beatbox sounds to learn. Any good tutorial suggestions you have would be awesome as well.
@@JetpackSuperheroes or maybe a water drop tutorial you got to keep in mind some sounds take days or weeks it’s not something you get in one sitting you have to train your muscles for the sounds
ok sweet thank you. I'll check out some of these and I'll go back to basics. I originally found krnfx tutorials first and used those. I gotta learn more though.
absolutely yes, we've added it to the list right now. Is kristof in this video kristof nagy by chance? I just watched some of his tutorials and I was digging his band's music too.
Yes Paul does use them. I have two high fidelity "flat eq" studio monitors that I use. I try to limit wearing headphones since I had surgery on my ear and they cause discomfort when I wear them. Even on stage my IEMs are my least favorite piece of equipment. I'd rather stick my head in the PA 🤣
Personally, I'm not a fan of loopstation beatbox. I find natural beatbox much more impressive and you should definitely check out some of the solo battles, or beatboxers like Improver and Bigman
Super sorry it wasn't my intent. I'm sorry it read that way. I do care and was thankful that you told us. Please don't ever feel like we don't appreciate the time you take to comment or the information we get. You are appreciated. When we do these we are curious because we haven't been and we are always looking to learn something. Our dream is to do a live beatbox showcase, so the more we learn the better. Right now we just do live on the internet because our country has the pandemic and regulations. Someday we'll be ungrounded. 😊 But anyways, I totally valued your comments and I apologize again.
hey man thanks for checking out our channel. I love beatbox loopstation performances. I watched a few seconds to make sure it was for us and it totally is. I've added it to the list. Thank you for introducing yourself to us. great to meet you.
This is the style we chose for our reactions, just hit mute on this one, and then sync up the original and watch us on one screen and the original with audio on the other. Then you're set!!!
So at 9:13 D-low was doing an impression of the 2 people next to him(river and colaps) as a joke - not saying 10 minutes up lol
haha that's awesome. I love that everyone is super tight

all they do is just a freestyle, they just go with the flow on what beat is next
That is fantastic freestyling. Thank you for letting us know if it was prewritten or not.
When ur a beatboxer, water is ur best friend lol
