Idk why but to me it felt kinda pointless? I mean Inertia is gonna spam inward regardless if you provoke him or not, sooo idk. I agree that the round was almost flawless and so fucking good, but at the same time I feel like inertia could just say the same thing back at bookie with his inward. Am I missing something?
@@xcloudd Inertia is no counter beatboxer and he never has been. Therefore there literally is no „battle move“ at all because Inertia doesnt get hit by it

And that’s not the first time you’ve increased my awareness of something. I really do appreciate your reactions.
im so fucking happy you recognized bookies quality and the inbetween sounds that he does, as they are hard to hear for the untrained ear. Bookie is a fucking mastermind. Im really glad you understood his details, respect for that. Its not something that sounds good to the general crowd, but someone like me who have beatboxed for 15 years. I went NUTS when i started hearing that stutter thing he did. you basically took the words out of my mouth. I think its more complex than anything you have ever shown. its a 10/10 complexity combo right there. No one is gonna repeat that or do something like that for LONG. I'm telling you, LONG.
The depth you provide of analysis is a tremendous opportunity into your astounding musical mindset. You have put metaphorical windows where there once was just a wall of uncertainty. I watched this video from beginning until the very end and learned quite a bit more musical understanding in the process. The level of complexity you explained thoroughly brings a lot more appreciation to how difficult Bookie Blanco's performance that I would not have considered. This is a battle of Character vs Identity. Bookie's characteristics and textures made him wholely unique in sound, whereas Inertia's identity made him instantly recognizable and dynamic in range. This was a close battle; I don't envy the judges 🙏
@@Jayzha7 that's not how that works, both of inertias rounds were solid where as bookie a one good one mediocre, inertia just had consistently better rounds
@@Jayzha7its his style? Everyone has their style when it comes to music, whether its rappers, beatboxers, ect. They dont switch it up often because thats what they’re good at.
Can’t quite remember what GBB it was but You, Colaps, Frosty and I think Pulse8 was judging wildcards and you all reacted to Bookies Wildcard before he even went by bookie… shows he was in the Game Long before we knew his Name🖤🔥
GBB20, when Colaps made his own wildcard and Dan was so honest with him (that bit there is the reason you’re in top 10, you weren’t before that bit) lol. That was a great stream. I remember them also watching Ziad Swidan and loving him, especially colaps and Parth.
The only thing close to the sound in my mind that Dlow was losing his mind too during Bookie's first round.... it's like he figured out how to extend and modulate a version of Footbox G's "Fish" snare...Like that's the closest my brain can get to comprehending it 😭 And I'm not even sure it's close to that but in my ears/brain that's the first thing I think of or associate it with
The more I think about the "No Bass" that's a cheat code too. I feel like it's automatic hype for Inertia with the bass but for Bookie it's the hype around technicality without bass. The on time call too is something to consider because the bass can overshadow being off time. For me it's musicality of Bookie and the first round structure
You have such a technical ear, you can recognize how crazy his technique is while we mere mortals can't. Meanwhile your performance energy and your intricacies are more crowd-pleasing perhaps? I'm not a beatboxer but to make an analogy I used to mess around with poi spinning and people are way more impressed by a very basic move done quickly than they are by very technical stuff. That stuff mostly impressed other people who at least knew a fair bit about the things you were doing. So the audience is a big amalgam of enthusiasts of various levels, and the entry level folk dig your energy man, that's my best guess.
things that excite you are comming from the skill and control aspects of the performance but the audience who arent all aware of how much skill / talent is needed for certain sounds are just looking at how it sounds weather it is pleasing to their ear or not. not how much it takes to master the thing. and in that opinions vary and none of technically wrong
Honestly, I don't understand why anyone complains about your analysis no matter the length or performer.
