Superb. Was waiting for someone to think about this. A team of non-Indian riders testing the three built in India for the world contenders on Indian soil. A completely fresh perspective.
Thanks for the comment 👍 I never realy thought about it like that but I’m glad you enjoyed the first video more to come soon 🏍️💨💨💨
The Triumph is build in Thailand
@@hba5417 Nope. Your are wrong.

At long last a proper bunch of UK Bikers delivering us a real world road test,as someone in Yorkshire that’s waiting for the ‘Himmie’ 450 to arrive here this was a real treat. This group test didn’t disappoint, thoughtfully enjoyable to watch from start to finish & can’t wait to ride a demo when they eventually surface- Top Job Boyz.
Many thanks, plenty more to come on the Himalayan 450, so far it’s been a fantastic bike, totally different to
the original 411cc. Youll absolutely love it when you get yours. 🏍️💨💨
Nice to see you take off from my home, South Goa😊 All the best! Have a safe ride❤
I’ve been to Goa twice before just for a holiday. It’s a wonderful place and perfect to start this adventure. Thanks for the comment 👍 how you enjoye the ride 🏍️💨💨💨
Tip to ride safely in india : be ready for the worst and expect for the unexpected. In foreign people take things for granted that other will also follow traffic rules but never do it in india , in india think like noone is going to follow traffic rules and you have to ride through this chaos and maze . Ride safe
Many thanks. I’m ready for the ride 👍 thanks for the tip👍🏍️💨💨💨
This was such an interesting watch. Absolutely loved the video.
Glad you enjoyed it! It only get better from here 👍🏍️💨💨💨
A great video ! Lovely to hear Alex ‘s dulcid tones 🤣! Those bikes look great for out there . I did many miles with Alex out there and up in the Himalayas on bullets . Great stuff
You need to get back out there on the new bikes he’s got coming. It’s a whole different experience. It would be a tough ride on the bullets. Great memories though. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Great footage Simon. What an awesome ride we had together. We really did put them through their paces. Even although i rode every km with you, I'm looking forward the next instalment. Cheers mate. Alex
Thanks Alex, amazing tour as always. Thanks again for the support 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Loved the content very well explained and engaging Love from INDIA 💟
Hey thanks for the comment. India is a amazing place. Plenty more to come 👍
best comparison video of these bikes. Variety of road, not only road condition but also variety of traffic condition added to the richness of the video. truly amazing
Glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback. It’s much appreciated 👍🏍️💨💨💨💨
What a pleasant surprise coming across this clip. I’ve ridden with both Alex and Jamie in the Himalayas and Rajathstan. Great guys, they can really ride. And they’re top company.

Nice! Makes me longing for a ride in India. I guess I need to come back once to India.
Yes get on it. I don’t think i could ever get tired of India. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Yeap, but while coming to India please try to come to Southern part of India espicially Kerala which is safe as Japan and beautiful as Switzerland. ( Homicide rate in Kerala 0.9 while homicide rate in United States = 6.3 )
Good Video, very enjoyable. its a pity the other two guys don't have cameras and mics on their bikes as it would have been good to hear their opinions of their bikes whilst riding.
You’ll get more information as more episodes come out, 9 more videos to follow. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Just stumbled on this one and what a great video. I'll be watching the series. I have just acquired a Scrambler 400X so particularly interested in how it compares. I was going to wait to try the new Himalayan and compare the two but there seems to be quite a delay here in the UK. I had a surprise opportunity on a Scrambler as well as a chance to demo ride one and I loved it so that was that. I note that all bikes are kitted out with the same pannier bags and the Triumph also has a tail bag and a tank bag. Looks awesome and would really open up the bike to some touring. Could I ask if you have a few moments whether you could detail what the luggage options used are please?
Thank you for the comment and congratulations on the Triumph 400X you won’t be disappointed, such a versatile bike. It would certainly be fine for a bit of touring, il ask the owner (Alex) where he gets the luggage from, it will be definitely from India. The tank bags sit nice on the Triumph because of the flatter tank. I’m hoping to have the next video uploaded in the next couple of days. So hope you enjoy it. Ride safe
Damn I was waiting for someone to do this comparison. Thanks guys
This is only episode 1 there’s 8 more to watch and one more final episode to come next week
This Video really Touched me… three Friends, Bike and Road❤❤❤
Thanks for the comment.. really glad you enjoyed the ride.. plenty more to come 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Now that’s what I call a test ride! Most are just on the UKs tarmac roads with the odd pothole thrown in 😂👍🏼
It’s definitely different to the uk.
Its not diffrent in the sense the village and country road width is British standard 40ft. US has 80ft even on country roads. 😊
@@KarthikSoun I noticed there a lot of new roads going in. The difference is there’s no real rules on riding, and plenty of animals roaming about.
@@thatbikersimon yes, would you impose rules on these roads? If you did do you think traffic is going to become smooth flowing or faster?
@@KarthikSoun unfortunately in the uk it’s not always about safety on roads, the government make a lot of money out of people driving or riding here, Generally we get financially punished for everything. Speeding/parking tickets/ congestion zones/ avarage speed cameras. Points on licences for common mistakes. We definitely pay a price and not to mention road tax which clearly doesn’t get spent on roads. I don’t think having rules in India will make a difference. It’s not that I would want to speed all the time it’s more that I don’t have to worry in India and I can just enjoy riding a motorcycle
Love your streams Simon. I was waiting for this review . The Himmie is the bike that i want to see the review of . remember a whikle ,back you siad that the old bike was under powered to take two up . What do you think about the new bike . Fit for two or not ??? Thanks 👍👍👍

Apart from the test ride, he is thoroughly enjoying the riding the bike. That is what biking offers its riders, many ask what you get out of it (riding bike) it's this kind of joy
This is very true. It’s doesn’t matter what bike you have or own, it’s all about the ride or though the new Himalayan 450 is one amazing bike so far.
@thatbikersimon Yep rather than just making some improvements and additions to the existing 411 RE just built a new platform, so the old lame bike is replaced by a new peppy one and it gets an extra gear to cruise. That's a sweet machine, however I Love KTM Adv390 because it can take the beating of Indian conditions and I own it so have experienced a lot in these 30000 kms that I have covered on it 😊.
It's hard to choose one but Himalayan 450 kill It's indian competition
KTM 390
YEZDI ADVENTURE
Dominar 400
BMW G310GS
Triumph 400
And upcoming
TVS ADVENTURE (310)
Honda 350 AVD which was going to compete Himalayan 411 but they are late
Royal Enfield did were well they have 90+% market share in 250cc+
But now Harley,Triumph,Bajaj,TVS..... everyone entering the 250-500cc segment it's going to be a price war in indian mid-size bike market
I couldn’t of said it better myself, I guess it’s nice to have a choice so theirs something out there for everyone.

why are you using high beams in the morning himalayan first 10 mins
use it only needed even in nights - just an observation
The led lights are much better now but it’s still advisable to have the high beam on.

That camera is right in the field of view. It must be a very dangerous spot to put a camera. It is difficult to see.
It’s not dangerous just a pain for the viewer. I’ve got a better mounts for my next tour. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
You were near benaulim :)
Colva but went to Benaulim a few time to eat
Hope you had a good experience riding in the beautiful twisties in my home district of Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. Its one of the least populated places around and quite calm to live too. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are known to have the best quality and scenic highways in all of India- perfect for a tour like this!
Thanks for the comment. You enjoy the rest of the videos nine more still to come. As we had south 👍🏍️💨💨💨
please lower the handle mount camera. its blocking the most interesting forward view!

Well I always have a bit of doubt with cheaper bikes, but I can honestly say all 3 bikes are built very well. I think value for money they will all sell very well. The first day on the royal Enfield it feel a premium bike for the money, nothing feels cheap. Very well built. 👍
Definitely very well built. They look and feel amazing, have good features and performance. Absolute value for bucks.
Why can't everyone copy that LED display on the Dash?
I do t know why
