What a year for motorcycles . Triumph and Harley bringing excellent bikes, TVS coming with superb 300cc Naked. Return of Karizma with best in class performance, And now this. This year has been great!
I still remember the 2013 Duke 390 review while u were in PD which was made to buy Duke 390 in 2015. Now after years again watching this review, I think repeats again !!
Watching the ending I think someone or KTM can design a seat which is for track use specifically... I mean taller and giving more space to the rider to move back by redesigning the pillion seat as well.
Watching since power to rider day the first duke 200 review... sarge you're the GOAT. you have changed the way reviews are done india and now everyone is following the same template. You're a legend bro
Sarge and Duke 390 in a video and automatically you're reminded of the iconic Powerdrift 390 video, the video that got most of us hooked to PD and Sarge!! Man those were the gold old days when you could get a Duke 390 for less than 2lakhs on road, sigh!

If only you could remove that "sari guard" when making the videos because it looks so out of place here in the states. But my guess is you need it on there to be legal. If so, I understand. KTM, can you please make a KTM 390 Duke using the Seatle Seahawks colors? Neon green frame and wheels, etc., and Navy blue for the side of the tank fairings. I also see an extra sensor on the exhaust pipe for this bike in the USA. What is that for? Can we get those black heat panels on the exhaust here in the states?

SERGEANT!!! What the HELL man??!! I have a Duke 390 2018 model and now, after watching this, I am SO eager to get this one!!! Oh man! Bigger tank, better ground clearance, TC, Cornering ABS, Riding modes... my second Spiti Trip will be all the way more awesome! When I got my D390, I was coming off from Pulsar 220fi. So, it was a major shift in terms of handling, tech etc. I never had the confidence to lean the way I do on D390, on my P220 then. It was a nightmare. Obviously, it had the Metz tyres as well which helped a lot. They are sticky but unfortunately, they wear out too much (a trade-off). Running on Michellin Pilot at front and Apollo Tramplr at rear and still quite satisfied. For most riders, Metz will serve the purpose as they ain't leaning like you do. I have a one last query. Does it retain the same sintered brake pads at front? Thanks once again for this. D390 anyday over Apache 310.
I love Sagar's reviews simply because he is so passionate about riding and takes each and every bike to the possible limits! Heck, none of the official propaganda of a given brand sounds so convincing as Sagar when he tells you whether a given bike is really good! And I love KTM too! Thanks to KTM and Bajaj partnership, Indians as well as the rest of the world have got accessible performance - even though the current set of KTM bikes are way more expensive than the original launch prices - even now these are difficult to beat in terms of combination... I am loving all the competition now happening where TVS is also trying to up the ante in terms of fantastic features in RTR 310...But with these updates, KTM Duke 390 is still much ahead of the TVS Apache RTR 310... Very hard to beat this one!!
Lighter bike with power slightly bumped up and more features as well. Boy oh boy, enthusiasts on a budget are definitely going to rejoice 🤩. Great review Sarge👌
I missed you wheelie pop for 390 in the beginning. Like it used to be with every duke 390 videos 😢 come on man you should like you used to 😢 Love to you.
The KTM 390 duke was a machine that changed motorcycle culture in India for good. Its one of those bikes that shown us what a high performance bike feels like. This new 3rd gen does exactly same thing, it looks good, has good performance and great level of features and equipments. Yes the duke has gone up in price but for the it offers more that makes it a value for money just like it done back in 2013. Now the TVS Apache RTR310 has some serious competition.
I don't know why most people aren't impressed with it's looks. Honestly it was the spy shots that made me fall in love with this. It's a looker. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍😍

Bang on review Sarge! Absolutely no bs , straight to the point. Quick question, does this warranty an upgrade from the old(bs6) d390? Is it really that much more capable?
The bike is better undoubtedly in terms of riding dynamics and engine but you need to ride it and decide for yourself if that is big enough a change to upgrade from the old duke
The duke wins this bout. The only reason the rtr features in the comparison is because of its high price, adjustable suspension and tech but the ktm is much more powerful
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial got it... Still need your opinion the vibration in rtr310 that reviewer are slightly complaining about.. plus two more question.. is Duke390 is a good tourer and opinion on daily use .. 75% commuting 25% touring. And can one go for rtr310 if rather than more power.. dependebilty, build quality, long term use, service network etc are priorities... For a person who doesn't cross 110/120 kmph on two wheels.. 🙏🙏🙏
Just reminded me of the ancient youtube videos of you reviewing the older generations of Duke 390, before there were Auto influencers there was Serg ❤❤❤
Wonderful review like always. You might not remember me from Thailand TVS launch was an amazing opportunity to meet you in flesh. Power to you from Sikkim✌🏻
We think between the RTR and Duke it is a 50-50 stuff. If you want raw power and performance with the right components to exploit, it has to be the Duke; but if you want more gizmos to play with not as manic power as the duke with a touch of softness for everyday usability and to some extent touring comfort (don't get me wrong....the RTR too has all components perfect for attacking the corners, but that engine is just plain lacking) the RTR will make perfect sense. One who buys the Duke wouldn't want anything more (or atleast can play around the tyres and the harder seats with aftermarket stuffs) but one who buys RTR might feel the engine being the weakest link in the package. Nice review Sarj!👍
The top spec RTR doesn't stand a chance against the 390 because it doesn't offer the same performance and is only 8k cheaper. The standard rtr looks more promising

RTR 310 vs Duke399 ... detailed comparison is what we need.. plus opinion on vibration on both the machines.. 🙏
The duke wins this bout. The only reason the rtr features in the comparison is because of its high price, adjustable suspension and tech but the ktm is much more powerful
@@SagarSheldekarOfficialwhat about the feeling of the bikes?
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial got it... Still need your opinion the vibration in rtr310 that reviewer are slightly complaining about.. plus two more question.. is Duke390 is a good tourer and opinion on daily use .. 75% commuting 25% touring. And can one go for rtr310 if rather than more power.. dependebilty, build quality, long term use, service network etc are priorities... For a person who doesn't cross 110/120 kmph on two wheels.. 🙏🙏🙏
Still remember your spectacular review on the bs3 390!!

Hey Sarge, Great review as always. How do you compare the MRF w rated tyres against the alpha h1 and eurogrip, given they are the only options?
I think they are the best of the lot
I see the MEGATRON...As always Great review, Sarge!...
Also I heard 390 shares some engine parts with speed 400..is that true ..??
Unlikely
