Another beautiful flight, I may have misinterpreted what he said but it sounded like a gyro setting. I also might suggest if it hasnt been done that the spoilerons on the main wings need to be turned off or the rates turned down significantly when the wings are back. The roll rate on the Tomcat obviously increases exponentially in delta configuration and only needs the tailerons. Beautiful flight and butter landing!
Yea I think the other Bank on the Cortex was not setup properly. Probably HOLD mode. Yes Spoilerons and Flaps disabled during swept wing. Just Tailerons operating.
@@thelightersideofrc definitely figured I was preaching to the quire on that but sometimes a reminder cant hurt. That hold feature can ruin your day, Im glad he caught on and moved them back out! Great video my friend.
Awesome! How much air time do bigger models get in a year compared to normal sized ones? Transporting logistics...time to assemble in field, nerves and all others to be just right to take off and so it again after refuelling? Seems the bigger they get, less they are flown? Or am I wrong?
Of course this has many variables. If someone only owns a few planes then it may get flown lots. If it’s one of many in the fleet maybe less often. This F14 is actually very quick to assemble.
Awesome job on this! Looks great in the air. If I ever get into turbines this’ll definitely be on my list! It’s a great flying model of the Big Fighter.
You mentioned the original Firghelli actuators were swapped because not powerfull enough? haven't heard of this yet...... what were they swapped with then?
Hmmmm You said F-14. Name is Skymaster. When I was in the Navy in the 1970’s that aircraft was called the “Tom Cat “. And the Cessna 337 was called the “Skymaster” Have things changed since I separated from the US Navy?
Good morning, please where exactly is the center of gravity of the f14 located? Bernard/France, builder of a bi-turbine f14 balza bonjour, svp ou est situé exactement le centre de gravité du f14? Merci de votre réponse Bernard/France, constructeur d'un f14 balza bi turbine.

All the Aircraft you build are amazing but that F-14 & the Twin F-4, to me are the most beautiful ones. Thank you for sharing all of this !
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!

I agree this comment.
Thanks for the video Jonathan.. we have corrected Bank 2 of Cortex pro and all should be well now.. great video ❤
Awesome! Simple Fix! 😎👍
Loved the low high speed pass over the runway!
😊😎

Nice facilities!! And that pilot knew his stuff, very nice landing. I thought he was a bit hot but I was clearly wrong.
Yea she is a great spot to fly! Thanks for watching!
Bad ass!! The twins sound awesome. The power to weight looks overkill and that’s not a bad thing 😎
Hey! Yes it’s overkill but perfect!
Maverick: Requesting permission for flyby.
Air Boss Johnson: That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.
😎
amazing airshow video
Thanks a lot!
Now there’s a guy who loves his job. Good on ya Johnathan 😁❤️👍🇬🇧
Thank you very much!
Can we get some Kenny Loggins please?
Now THERE YOU GO…!!! “Danger Zone”!!💺🚀
HAHA.
Needs a top gun quote…..”
And if you screw up just this much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog sh*t out of Hong Kong!😂
Amazing stuff
HAHA. Well Said!😂
And you.....your lucky to even be here!
Yes Sir!
Gorgeous plane that is what the Aircraft Carrier i was on was F-14's
Sweet! Thanks for watching!
Great Pilot and awesome Plane.
Indeed!
Does the wing sweep change the CG aft?? Maybe check it with the wing swept.
No does't effect it much. Issue was gyro 2nd bank not programmed properly. All fixed now.
Awesome, like a rocket, very nice done, congratulations, Remi, Belgium
Thank you very much Remi!
Because I was inverted!!..Great Video 🚀
HAHA. Thanks Koko!
best hobby in the world
YES!!!

Beautiful Flier!
Hello un TOP !!! Bravo à Vous .... Stéphane de FRANCE !!!
Thank you!😊
Dang, even sounds real!
Oh Yea!
You mentioned the original Firghelli actuators were swapped because not powerfull enough? haven't heard of this yet...... what were they swapped with then?
The original actuators were 100 series Actuonix models. The guys were changed to the 150 models.
@@thelightersideofrc okay, mine still has the original (non-proportional) Firghelli's.......
I'm subscribed for 6 years to the trailer
🙌😎
That’s amazing
Thanks!
Wow.... nice
Thank you! Cheers!
Bellissimo ! A che velocità va l'aereo ?
Molto realistico , pollice in 👍💯💥
Thank you! On that flight probably 125-170 mph.

Thank you my friend
@antoniopegaso4208 😎🙌
Here's a challenge
Try considering the General Dynamics F1.11
Aardvark
I think that you would be the first person to try
Ahhh the Aardvark. Yea I don't think one has ever been modeled.
Hmmmm
You said F-14. Name is Skymaster. When I was in the Navy in the 1970’s that aircraft was called the “Tom Cat “. And the Cessna 337 was called the “Skymaster”
Have things changed since I separated from the US Navy?
Skymaster is the manufacture of the kit
That is so fucking cool. Can't imagine how much that cost or how long it takes to learn to fly it. I'm so jealous
Thanks! Stunning Classic for sure!
try quad "copter" jet thruster tail-sitter "helicopter", yep 4-leaf tail-sitter configuration
yep its a x-wing jet fighter vtol
😊👍😎
How many jets does this guy have or is he the test pilot for most jets at the club?
Koko is the Test Pilot.
With the wings back what controls roll? Talierons?
Yes, Just tailerons for control.
Kinda out of nowhere, but have you built, or want to build an F-35B🤔???
Yes for sure!
So does that guy own all those jets you build for him or is he the lucky guy that gets to do all the maidens.
Koko is the Maiden Flight Pilot.
@@thelightersideofrc What a lucky guy.
one of the gyro settings no?
Correct. 2nd Bank not programmed properly.
I guess it kept it sweep short😮
Gyro Bank 2 Needed Correction.

When you're a heli pilot, but are still watching this like...👀....
Haha! Thanks for watching!😎
Amazing model too bad they put an inaccurate super hornet paint scheme on the plane
Thanks! Just a fantasy scheme!
Can you make a Boeing 47 and sell it to me for free
That sounds like great deal for you and a poopy deal for me!
Horrible me the way you smallest plane for free
🤔
