- The next morning, Renee tries to keep Asa calm while Clint nervously paces the floor. Bo advises Clint to go home and get some rest. Meanwhile, Tina sits at Cord’s bedside, dreaming of Cord being fully recovered and walking through their front door. Larry updates the family: Cord’s condition hasn’t changed, but it hasn’t worsened either. Clint insists they will not lose Cord. Brenda tells Tina the doctors need to run some tests, and asks her to leave the room. Tony comes to see Max, but Max tries to send him away, saying they are in the middle of a family crisis. Tony says there’s another family crisis involving his wife. Tony says Max needs to go to court to support (and not judge) Gabrielle. Max says all he’ll hear if he goes to the hearing is hear Gabrielle lie, and he asks why he should put himself through it. Tony says he knows Max loves Gabrielle still, deep down, and that’s what she needs today. After Tony leaves, DuAnn asks Max if there’s a chance Gabrielle might go to prison. Max says that’s definitely a possibility, an answer that DuAnn seems none too pleased about. A sopping wet Gabrielle comes home, having spent all night wandering out in the rain. She tells a relieved Julia that, with her court hearing just a few hours away, she knows what she has to do. Gabrielle suggests that Julia go back to London for her own safety. She says she’s glad Al is with Max, and she hopes Max can keep him safe. Gabrielle says she plans to go into the courtroom and tell the truth about her partnership with Carlo. She knows it could put her and her loved ones in danger, but she doesn’t know that she has any choice. Julia says she’s proud of Gabrielle for coming clean. Their heart-to-heart is cut short when Gabrielle’s Carlo-appointed lawyer Evan shows up.
Wanda brings Izzy to see Clint. Izzy says he took the whole printing press apart last night to see if there was a reason the accident happened. Larry tells Tina to stay at Cord’s bedside and make sure he knows she is there. After Tina gives an impassioned speech to Cord about how much she loves and needs him, Cord begins to stir. Brenda tells the group of Buchanans in the waiting area that Cord is awake. In his hospital room, Tina explains to Cord that he had an accident but that he will be OK, though Larry has warned his condition is still critical. Ralph reports back to Carlo about the conversation he witnessed between Gabrielle and Tony. He mentions the vial Tony had and seemed to be discussing. At the courthouse, Carlo promises Gabrielle that if she follows EEvan’s lead, everything will turn out OK. He notices she is shaking and reminds her, ominously, that as bad as things seem now, they can always get worse. Before the hearing starts, Tony reminds Gabrielle of her promise to him that she would tell the truth. Evan later tells her she should not speak at all during the proceedings. Just as she is about to be led to her seat, Max arrives, buoying Gabrielle’s spirits.

Tony was funny when he said Carlo looks like a vulture. He does have bird-like features. Lol
If you think about he's in buck Rogers and the 25th century he in a falcon suit
He always looked like that Muppet that was a bird. Thom is such a great actor. Oltl was often forgotten at the emmys. So many left & finally won emmys or nominated. Anyway other than Erika Thom won the Emmy in 92. For this exact year. He went on to win for this storyline.
Stinks they did this to Gabrielle. She really learned her lesson & changed when she confessed about baby steven. At the halfway house she was a model of a " prisoner" she worked long days as a seamstress her & tina were amazing co horts & friends as roomates & took down the wymans which got them pardoned. I blame max for all her downfalls. First not claiming al than when he was 2 he took custody from her where she really snapped. Well her obsession w/ max in 87/88 was the problem too. If i was her id have said the heck w/ him ive got talent as a designer have my son & tried to make it work w/ steve. When that failed as she married him for security & obsessed on max when alicia died she & micheal had great chemistry. She & tina when they were friends they were awesome. I always hated how gabs for years blamed tina for " stealing " al. First off tina delivered him after survivng a waterfall a supposed miscarriage & fever & malaria. Anyway b/c her dad was a coke dealer & her grandma died she had nothing left so she willingly let tina take al. Ok she let Gabrielle still believe her & max were married b/c she forgot that was the lie max told b/c of the culture as they were living together at his ranch. So if not for tina al would have been legally adopted. She had decided to put him up for adoption b/c she was unmarried. So in a way Gabrielle owed tina for taking al. Esp given she wanted al back. Sometimes i wonder if down deep she gave tina Al knowing where she lived & got herself together to follow her to get him back. I mean thats what she did. I get it she had regrets but for tina to be called a baby napper wasnt true. Tina offered to take him b/c she was very depressed she thought she lost her baby cord dumped her for kate max also lied to her that he took $$ from mama maria to wisk tina far away. Viki as usual turned on her. As did clint asa etc. Cord didnt even believe she was pregnant. Anyway gabrielle when micheals wife & son died could have been his shoulder to lean on. Instead she switched babies. Im not sure why. I think she really thought micheal was gonna kill himself as he told her the night b4. She also had a serious head injury. Still its no excuse. She did confess in the end.
Thats why i wrote all this as a tribute to fiona. Such a talented actress. 😊gabrielle a great character who really started off as a very innocent good girl. Then she lost her mind. Then she became obsessed w/ $$ & micheal her max obsession was her undoing. Once tina dumped him to go back to cord she went bonkers over max who ingored her & al. He didnt even care & encouraged her to marry his brother so steve could take over & he could be free wheeling. Again thats why it really bugged me he decided to take al from her. Micheal dumped her & went back to his pregnant wife & she seemed content to be on her own in her own house w/ al. Max was back on the ranch in texas when steve died. He also wasnt much of a brother to steve or uncle to steven or once he got al he was gone all the time & let megan & some babysitters watch al. Gabrielle sorta was gonna end up like tina leaving al behind & marrying micheal going off w/ ironically steves baby but she did confess. She def took her lumps. Micheal choked her out & beat her up. I think thats the one time i felt for a man to a degree in losing it & beating up his fiancee. She didnt even prepare him. I mean at the altar when he was so happy theyd just talked about having 2 or 3 more kids hoping to get al back of course it was sad b/c steven wasnt his. So to lose ur wife but fall in love then be humiliated left at the altar having all these dreams then coming home to find the woman u love just trying to grab a child u believed for months was urs & saying see ya i bringing the baby back. Again micheal punching her & choking her almost to death ( fiona & dennis crushed those scenes ) was tough to watch but micheal snapped. He gad been through it really badly. Plus he & gabs were lovers than close friends so when alicia died it was easy to see how he fell in love that fast as he was already attracted & in love.
Anyway after that she got beat up bad in prison which i guess is expected as tina a few times almost got eat badly. I know she got shoved & pushed a lot.

Gabrielle the truth will set you free. Probably won't see it but Tony being there will help her to tell it all even the lie about Max and Asa

Nicholas Walker appears to be at least 3 inches shorter than James DePaiva. It's really noticeable when he stands next to most of the men except the 5'8 Robert Woods(Bo).

@@toyaliensI have never seen the infamous so often talked about episode where Blair throws her birth control pills at Asa rips him to shreds when drops to the floor dying of a heart attack she kicks his heart pills away & walks off laughing. Asa could never ever let that go. I say like Asa says u get what u pay for. He had such a true blue in Renee & cheated w/ blair as everyone warned him she was a gold Digger & liar. He wanted another baby I think was what drew him in. Anyway the point is that is from 92. I can't believe w/ all the amazing episodes that one is the only one never put up & I've looked. It's such a classic scene & oltl never replayed it or flashed back to it as Mia korf was in the role who played Blair much colder & more self conscious ( check out the way Jake in jaba city watches her like a hawk & sees through her as Blair gets very nervous. This was 92 a really great year Megan's death Billy Douglas Marty the aids quilt homophobia Leeann having duke the first intro of frat boy #1 aka todd sadly the beginning of the end for Clint & viki for that pompous sloan & the nye party where Blair blasts Asa & confesses all about her cheating on him on top of her wedding dress to max which I did feel for Asa for once. Yet again he finally messed up w/ amazing Renee who was asas soul mate all for the younger woman to breed him a baby. 92 is def a great year Megan's death is on yt but I would pay to see that Asa/Blair scene . That's when recasting is rough esp given kdp took over owned the role & played her 20 years but that one scene was never played again but referred to constantly. That's when asa gave todd the whole story when he married Blair. Plus she confessed to faking her pregnancy & Asa was so desperate he believed the " hysterical pregnancy " thing another 92 ep I'd love to see. She kept telling Larry a Dr! She was pregnant. I guess she sold it b/c Larry did say he thought it was a hysterical pregnancy which I'm shocked Larry didn't say " um ur faking it "unless she showed some physical symptoms.
