LOVE our Tazer, its an incredible device that gives Jeep owners full control of their vehicle and allows us to shut off annoying stuff like auto-stop and the seat belt dinger. Not to mention dozens of other things.
I wondered about this for a while, since the Grand Cherokee Summit 2020 (mine) has a transfer case that is a lockable differential in the center, with no mechanical option to disengage the front axle. Then upon some research, I found that the transfer case in the SRT and other "sport" models is different, with an electronically-locking clutch to engage the front axle rather than a center differential. THOSE transfer cases can electronically (fully) disable the front axle, while the center-differential-based transfer cases cannot. Thus, I don't believe the "2WD-only" feature will do anything unless you have the model with the electronic-clutch-based transfer case. Maybe it does at least disable the electronic differential lock on the Summit-style transfer case (which would allow burnouts but would require about double the engine torque to do so and might be somewhat abusive to the transfer case), but it does not specify this in the Tazer manuals.
Everyone who owns a trackhawk needs this thing. So easy and who doesn't like line lock and a huge burnout.
Would it damage the transfer case or diff?
best in depth review of the features I've seen so far for wk2 tazer. Install was helpful too, thank you 👍
I installed a tazer in my 2018 TH.... don't use the line lock unless you want to replace your rear differential.
Great content as always my man. You're a big help and a great resource

@@redkeyinuse4754 Engine Start/Stop

Red Octane looks incredible 🥵🔥
Does the bypass effect the hp tuners bypass that’s put in for tuning?
Hi! Nice video👍👍👍 could you leave link exactly for that z tazer model...thx
If I don’t have the security bypass the tazer is pointless correct ?
can you activate stuff an then unplug it because i have a diablo screen or do none of the features work if it’s unplugged?
Does it have to stay plugged in or not
Does it works in all the latest Jeep models? Not only Wrangler/Rubicon?
Can I make the DVD player continue to play video on the front screen, while the car in motion ?
Will the light show features work with the 2018 Jeep GC altitude 3.6? Those come with Halogen head lights. No LED/ HID.
Does the light show features work with the car in motion or driving?
Can you turn off door open alarm? 😂
striker
Will it damage the differential, since it’s forcing to 2wheel drive
I think its "forcing" 2WD on a software level, so the front diff isn't even engaged. Doubt it hurts anything
Over time it will break
@@AntTheFuzz then why have that option 🤔 😕

I am getting a Tahoe RST with the 6.2. Any reason this is not a good option?
Cameron Craig yea it’s a Chevy
Ridiculous intro. Outro just as bad.
When using the line lock function do you have to hold the brake pedal?
