This guy used to get lessons from Gillespie, he's come so far and made his own footprint in the drumming scene, without a doubt one of my favourite drummers.
Man I was sitting here trying to figure out why his style seemed so familiar, then I read your comment. He definitely has heavy influence from Gillespie. So sick.
theres videos on connors youtube channel of him practicing and drumming with aaron. i wonder how they know each other cuz connor was deff young in the videos
This dude is from my town. good people. I remember when he was in Sleep Patterns. Holy shit Connor. Now you're drumming for BAAO. shit lol. 18 years old only. this is crazy
its crazy how great of a drummer connor is at only 16 years old (back in 2014) in this video!!!!!!! now hes 21 n killing it with beartooth!!! hes making a great name for himself and a great reputation. even if he doesnt stay with beartooth he will deff be a very sought after studio/touring drummer and he'll make really good money no matter what route he chooses to go with his career. cant wait till beartooth when they come threw NJ/NY on tour!!
Yeah like most everyone else I saw the Aaron Gillespie videos and you can tell how much influence he had on this kid. So much energy and passion into playing. Love this dude's style, this is a kid with a REAL passion.
His chops and all around feel are incredible. I love all these drum cams, but I particularly love watching the ones you've uploaded of him. Incredible drummer and amazing videos, thanks so much for doing these man. I hope you never stop uploading interviews or drum cams
this drum set he had at the time is absolutly beautiful. im not a big fan of Truth Drums but this kit is by far one of the sickest looking sets. he sold it on reverb a couple years back. you can see it on his channel in the bruno mars drum covers he did
Went from meinl cymbals to zildjans. And I’ve also never really seen him use a China cymbal either! I wonder why that is. I feel it’s such an iconic cymbal that’s used into music styles he plays.
+Happy Koala Unofrtunately he is becomming a studio drummer. Not that this is any bad, but would have prefered to see him longer on stange or/and with BAAO. :(
anyone know what specific crash/ride and hats he is using? looks like a meinl 20" byzance traditional medium ride and some 15" byzance traditional meduim hi hats? please tell me i am right

Silent Planets Drummer should be something for you then!
Fills over the bar line are very Gillespie-ish. I love this kind of solid/sketchy drumming. So refreshing.

On the most recent Beartooth tour with Stray from the Path and Motionless In White he was using a 19 inch K china.
Yeah man! This guy is great! He puts his all into it and everything! Keep these up :-)
I bet there's plenty of other drummers that all like this guy, but there's just no words to describe how sick (yes that right) this dude is.
Crazy to see where he came from now that he’s rocking hard with Beartooth! Connor is sick!
Amazing fills
Thank you a lot for the upload!:)
Still no dislikes, love it

i covered the first song, you guys should check it out soundcloud.com/jacob-beitel/lequisite-douleur-cover
The sickest. Just posted a drum cover of this today! Check it out :)
lol anyone catch the banana suit
Anyone know what that wooden piece is called on his kick drum for the stick clicks, been trying to pick one up.
I'm pretty sure it's called a wood block.
A woodblock is a completely different percussive instrument, that makes a completely different sound than stick clicks
+Ryan Sutherland Whether or not that is the technical name for it. it's just a wooden block mounted on the rim of his bass drum.
Obviously a beginner drummer, with no idea what hes doing LOL. Great skill and execution, I wish I was half as good as that.
AustinPetDetective he’s in Beartooth killing it twice as hard now
