"The hardest part" live is one of my favorite experiences I've ever had at a show, the lead singer came into the pit and eveyone gathered around to sing, so much emotion in that song.
First ever hardcore show I went to, These guys, Counterparts, then Hundredth. Was an amazing time, vocalist from BAOO gave a really powerful speech and I couldnt help but shed a couple tears.

I found Being As An Ocean about 4 years ago, And have seen them go through all the band member and musical changes. They never fail to excite me. And are 100% the best band I've seen (7th time on Wednesday) the atmosphere at their gigs is insane.
P.s. the first Album is by far the best stuff they have released. Always gives me goose bumps

To this day, the best live band I’ve ever seen is Being As An Ocean. Such a powerful band live. Joel always has a speech at the end then The Hardest Part… plays to close the show one of the most humble, and intense show you’ll ever see.

If you liked the first song then you should listen to the first album Dear G-d, all the songs in there are similar and very passionate. Make sure you listen to the new album as well, Waiting For Morning To Come, all the songs in there are crazy good!

808koko808 like I mentioned above, both the first album and most recent are pretty good but if I had to pick I would say the most recent one. Dear G-d is very raw but emotional, Waiting For Morning To Come has a bigger variation of elements and sounds.
HWBWP is still the best Baao album, if you ask me. I was really disappointed from "Waiting for the interlude to come". The good songs were released before and the rest was really boring (except for glow, but dissolve or OK are still better songs).
And this stupid backwards track was really bad.
Vitor Rocha I agree, as for raw emotion, I really feel Dear G-d. I think my favorite track is "The Sea always sees to put me at ease". I really do like HWBWP as an overall album. The lyrics seems to speak to me on a deeper level.

808koko808 that’s a pretty good song for sure. Idk why ppl love that album so much, honestly I don’t really like it, I like 2, maybe 3 songs off of that album, it is deeper lyrically but musically it didn’t quite feel like being as An Ocean, idk, maybe it was too big of a change from Dear G-d.

Very good that you decided to give this band a chance, super deep music and lyrics, they are quite unique and deserve recognition!
This band is amazing, the way they combine melodic hardcore and spoken word is just perfect, you should also check out the band Casey who are somewhat similar to this.
I am a BAAO fan. Saw them live, it was beautiful. I struggled with tears the first half of the set. The saddest part was that I missed the signing session afterwards. I just wanted to thank the vocalist for his lyrics, his inspiration. But I missed my one in a lifetime chance. Hope that they will return to Ukraine one day.
The fact that you can appreciate emotion driven and melodic music same as the heavy stuff makes this channel so much more appealing

What I love about BAAO is they are not what is expected, they do something interestung and different.
St Peter is actually my favourite.
Really like the triple reaction format. Too often one track doesn't cover the full range of a band, so its good to get a couple of variations in there when you're first discovering them!

Dissolve has one of my favorite clean choruses out of any of their songs. Fun fact, the clean vocals/bassist in the second and third songs used to be in a band from the U.K. called The Elijah. His name is Michael McGough.

Absolutely love this band. The narrative vocal comes through so well, especially in their first album Dear G-D. Amazing blend of passionate/poetic vocals, heavy screams and catchy choruses! Check out the songs Dear G-D and The Loneliness Won't be the Death of Me.
The drummer from the last two videos, Conner Denis, actually did a lot of lessons with Aaron Gillespie (Underoath). He left Being As An Ocean a while ago and is now drumming for Beartooth, which hopefully you'll react to someday :D

Loving the vids man, the drummer (Connor I think his name is) is one of the best drummers in the 'hardcore scene'. Pretty sure he plays for Beartooth now - another really good band. Check em out. Favourite songs would be anything off the sick and disugusting album
