I remember having used Sealing Ceremony of Katon back in the day when I had only rolled a single round of the minibox. I can see it making a return in the future, in order to banish a Spiritualist or Solitaire now that most graveyard-populating cards are limited or banned altogether.

That’s a good f2p card especially for the grass version for some protection
I'd say its too slow and you dont want to banish spectralsword for a synchro when you can already do that on your turn
@@FinalMorningstar Ofc you can do it on your turn, but this is for protection, not main plays. Summoning on your opponents turn lets you avoid the traps they've set, make additional plays on your turn, get those once per turn effects, and avoiding lethals. These possibilities I think can be worth a slow trap for those who need easier access to protection like my broke self XD
i've seen this deck in ranked before. it has insane combo potential, much more dangerous than cookie cutter backrow shiranui

@@realisticsoul7597 it's not the archetype that is annoying, it's hella easy to beat but the the backrow is what makes the archetype look toxic and annoying
It's like facing someone with a gun with one bullet and they shoot it as a "warning" and they throw a bluff that there is more bullets
You can run and take the bluff or be smart and call out their bluff ( Or they throw the gun an you and you get knocked out = losing a duel with a shirainui with no toxic backrow)

Hard to compare field wipes with any other card in the game.

Holy mother of god, this deck seems actually respectable and quite fun to play against! Kinda like how I feel about Karakuri. And that pretty much proves that a deck can be extremely strong and fun to play against. It’s just sad that shiranui is probably gonna get hit on the banlist after the cup, since it got first place. I used to hate the deck, but now I’m just sad that it is probably not gonna be as strong anymore. By that I mean this version of the deck. Screw heavy backrow shiranui.

Mostly OTK
You can have a high brain deck but you are lets say in 30 mins you are getting
Hmmm 4 wins at a 75% winrate
But lets say i play a super OTK deck
In 30 mins i do 10 wins
But even if my winrate isn't 75^
Lets say its 65%
But even tho my win rate is lower
In 30 mins i have 10 wins
And you have only 4
Its a bit more complicate than that but

So I have been messing around with a different variant of this deck. I don't run any mill cards and it still works perfectly fine. The one thing I am having trouble with is that I can't figure out what skill I should use. I tried Level Augmentation and Level Duplication, but neither of them ever came up for the build I'm using, I thought maybe Switcheroo would work, buy that also never came up. What skill should I use instead?

You guys hating on Shibainui so much while there's a real deal deck who abuse heavy backrow on the top tier place.
Invoked neos, heavy backrow. Karakuri, heavy backrow. Element Saber, heavy backrow. And those are tier 1&tier 2, while shiranui sitting on tier 3. But somehow the hate still directed to Shiranui.
Heck, most of shiranui player below Platinum not even use heavy backrow, they mostly just use a couple of raigeki and some f2p trap. The rest is on the archtype.
Still complaint? Well, welcome to yugioh. In this game, even in the tcg&ocg, the strongest archtype in competitive scene are the one who can utilize as much as possible trap while can still go into the combo with the minimum amount of core card.
Heck, this is already foreshadowing by the king of games himself, Yugi Muto, while playing against Atem for the last time. He beat the egyption gods with what? Trap strategy.
Also dsod movie, he beat Diva with what? Trap strategy. If even the real King of Game, Yugi Muto, relying on trap strategy , thats not a suprise to see the game evolving around trap strategy too.

I was just building this deck in duel links too. I bought like 10 pack. So hard to get all the shiranui.
I have full deck shiranhui, buy 7 times (3500 gem). After that, I reset that store deck because I get all I want, and need 2 copy of Shiranui squire. If you still not get card all you want, dont press "reset box". 2 weeks ago I reset data game because first time buy deck, I press reset.

Gozuki can easily be replaced with other, more efficient cards, of lower rarity anyway TBH. Not that hard to replace and also not really a key component of the deck. 👍

@@-reality-9495 Unless they open up with backrow or sphere kuriboh... I've never had problem with lunas as shira. Deck strugles most with first turn Dark Magician, overflow cydras and stall. Don't play shiras anymore but i did a lot and stall is worst thing you can face as shira now when you can't run cosmic.
Black Dragon I just go trunade then predaplants to use they monster as a fusion material then otk :^
And this particular deck is about to be nerfed in about two weeks.

i think releasing dd crow in the next box is enough of a hit to shiranui already. only being able to play 2 squiresaga promotes creative deck building, that is showcased in decklists like this one
D.D Crow is a hit to almost any deck,mostly to the heavy graveyard ones like shiranui. It would be interesting if people put goblindbergh into shiranuis because the card is an easy 1 card syncrho/xyz with the only restriction being it changing it's battle position.So it's an interesting box that we might see cards from it played for a very long time.

What do you mean? You barely see Shiranui anymore in legend... It's all Blackwings and WC nowdays. I have full Shiranui with Fiendish, most expensive version possible and never use it when i really wanna win. Deck is simply not that good anymore. Blackwings, WC and Invoked do 5 times better job at everything. Why even bother with it when Invoked Neos does same thing but better!

Deck is not specialized in anything it's jack of all trades like Invoked Neos only Invoked Neos has access to better traps such as Karma Cut which it uses at no cost as it can easily add another volcanic once it uses up one for discard and also cosmic cyclones which are far superior to Lance and piercing damage plus it can attack multiple times with 1 monster! You play WC if you don't wanna have any friends, you play Blackwings if you want fast otk games, you play Esaber if you wanna counter Blackwings and you play Shiranui i gess cuz you don't own any of the decks mentioned above. There's not a single matchup where you say ooh i wish i played Shiranui... Even Blue-Eyes is better atm thanks to it's ability to easily karma cut Verre and not needing effects on field to pop off. If you want Shiranui playstyle just play Invoked Neos only difference being you actually gonna win most of your games.

To be fair basically everything in the tierlist as of late except Witchcrafters used all the usual annoying traps. Shiranui is kind of the most free to play friendly of them, so I wouldn't hate on them as much as on the others

Why does this deck banish my specters when I syncro with them. It happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. Also sometimes world legacy clash does not return the monster. It’s freaky.
