What does BlendingRoom roastery do on a Monday?

Now that I have migrated on to the Loring S15 Falcon for our full production roasting, it means that the Probat sits as redundant capacity within the business. This is a good thing until such a time as I can afford to buy another (larger) Loring. It also means that I am now roasting on fewer days - the Loring has afforded a 25% uplift on a per batch basis and it has a higher cadence between batches. Importantly this translates into a shorter production week and one that sees me not roasting on a Monday.
Monday's at BlendingRoom are now all about set up for the week. One which sees us run our weekly production reports, weigh out the appropriate green and send out sample/purchase requests for the coffee we need to refill our racking.
I also do QC and other tasks around roasting, green management and buying.
Then there's the dreaded paperwork. Yawn!
