It's always been the case that Britain has been the lap dog of the US, whether it be its Political Wing or its mighty Industrial Complex), I also admired his calmness under pressure and also his balls for calling out the US Senate on its illegal war in Iraq, on their own turf no less. What Assange did was bad, distasteful, gross but it was no Abu Ghraib, and doesn't warrant nearly as much seriousness of offence. it's not that the women were forced against their will to sleep with him though, and it doesn't sound like Assange made his desire or will to have sex with them if he did sleep in bed with them, unknown to them or force them to come to his bedroom with clear undertones and intentions of romance, however much those might not live up to the ideals of him they had before the final acceptance of his invitation to his bedroom for the implied purposes or romantic intercourse. It sounded like Assange made it clear he was going to try to have sex with them if they went to his home at night, and believed himself to be doing a one-night-stand.

@mr.coolmug. Agree. First, many people believe, with evidence, that the massacre at the Ukrainian village was a false flag. The village head didn't announce the massacre until days after Ukrainian troops entered the village. And many of the dead were wearing white arms bands, which signified that they were supporters of Russia. Why would Russia massacre Russian supporters?
Second, what's wrong with Galloway's reasoning that Assange need not have asked permission twice to have sex with the same woman on the same bed just hours apart? Anyway, the rape charge against Assange was dropped.

Your analysis of Galloway on Bucha is flat wrong. He never suggested that it didn't happen. He said the massacre was misattributed. Ukrainian Militia killed accused Russian collaborators and clumsily framed advancing Russian troops for it. Clumsily because the frame was exposed by Scott Ritter and others. The implication that Galloway's views were tailored to please the Kremlin because he had a program on RT is redbaiting. Chris Hedges also had a program on RT. Ed Shultz had a program on RT.
