People don't have to agree with everything all the time forever. We just need to find an agreeable common goals that bring masses of people together, like: anti-war, anti-imperialism, decolonialism, nationalism, sovereignty, peaceful coexistence, social welfare and so on, pick a few and get to work! Galloway may not be much of a constituency MP. Nobody's perfect. At this moment in history, that's not his function.
In school chemistry terms, Galloway is like that crystal dropped into a beaker of supersaturated solution that causes the solute to crystallise. Imagine that in terms of politics.
A country that's utterly disillusioned with the status quo, is just waiting for a REAL alternative to supply that push or stimulus.
That's Galloway's function. He probably isn't really a leader. He's too much of a lone wolf. If a real third party / movement starts, I daresay a leader will emerge, whoever it may be.

Corbyn wanted to be leader of the Labour party - he stood he for it and did not relinquish it lightly. 2017 was a huge election success - and he was undermined by his own party and media subsequently.
If he were to join with Galloway the media would constantly use Galloway to attack him - Corbyn forming his own party is not for the birds - the man wanted to become PM, not for status but out of responsibility.
He may be a reluctant leader - but those may well make the best kind.

His constituents seem to think he is a good leader locally - and that's practical, reliable evidence, over a long period, of *what he actually does* when he has power to influence.
I 100% want Corbyn to lead - but in relation to Galloway, I'd want Corbyn to lead his own party, and at most an alliance with Galloway. He's too much of a nutter - even if he has said & done some good things; no-one is objectively all bad (except the likes of Orange Igor over in the US, to prove the rule has an exception).

@@larynOneka8080 Most people in politics shouldn't be in politics - but that isn't the reality of the world we inhabit.
The media must be managed as best can be done - Corbyn was destroyed by the media - if there is a second coming then he needs manage that risk - and of course it is a risk.
Galloway, would be a bad strategy - Galloway needs Corbyn far more than Corbyn needs Galloway. Galloway rides the sentiment of the Gaza conflict - it was an important expression and he was there.

His interviewing technique was outstanding, the best I've ever witnessed. He asked probing questions, allowed interviewees to answer, only contributed when necessary, and was always highly informed. We all need to have our views challenged every now and again.Of course Jeremy and George have alot in common such as being pro Palestinian , anti British Empire and anti EU ( Jeremy said he had voted remain , but for years had believed in the left wing anti EU position along with Tony Benn , Dennis Skinner and Neil Kinnock ) . I get the impression that both George and Jeremy favour a united Ireland , but whereas Jeremy I think would quite happily see an independent Scotland , George would not .
