Between 1987 and 2015, except for a period between 2010 and 2012, he was a Member of Parliament for four constituencies, firstly for the Labour Party and later the Respect Party. He was an independent candidate for West Bromwich East in the 2019 United Kingdom general election, and has since founded the eurosceptic Workers Party of Britain.

I agree with his assessment of Saddam Hussein . Saddam Hussein shouldnt been executed. It was quit evident that the US Was Way over its head before the execution. Saddah Hussein should of been elevated to be viceroy from the US in Iraq but George Bush boxed himself in by demonizing Saddam Hussein and for political dominance, had Hussein hung . It achieved nothing ultimately, but it did show nations offering sanctuary to terror groups that those days were over. Iraq was a massive error but an unavoidable one. The middle east will never be at peace - and it can only function with leaders like Saddam or Gaddafi. Personally, I wish the Israeli state relocated elsewhere and the west could leave the middle east alone to indulge in the bloodletting it is so fond of. When the west gives up on oil, the ME will revert to the way it was before oil. A desolate desert, with warring tribes living a medieval existence. It's current ruling class will, of course, decant to Switzerland or elsewhere.

Segs Naidoo .George is far from perfect I agree but I find myself agreeing with him regularly-with a few exceptions-especially on Israel-but he is an invaluable UK political asset.
George often talks about how important democracy is and yet in one of his last talk radio shows he said if he were a Russian he would vote for the communist party. Of course its free world and should he want to vote for the communist party fair enough but by the same token if you are happy to vote for party that once in power it could not be voted out of power then your not really much of a democrat are you.

He oversaw policies that directly resulted in the deaths of tens of millions of Russians. Mao implemented similar policies intended to accelerate China's development. Hundreds of millions perished as a consequence. Death by gas or by starvation, i'm sure the victims wouldn't choose either. Germany killed out of prejudice. Russia and China pursued policies that condemned millions to a miserable demise. It wasn't orchestrated genocide, but the outcome was the same. That's fact. Not propaganda.

I have met Gaddafi when I was stationed in Benghazi and he once told me that Libya could be a haven for Libyans if the oil revenue was used to help the people. He gave a house to every couple that married, he was building a water supply to turn the desert into a large garden and provide water for the houses he planned to build.

I realize that this is 3 years on but they went after Gaddafi because he wanted to put an end to the petrodollar and trade for oil back into gold and America didn't want that.

Funny how a conversation can show the real mindset of people. It's quite eye opening how they have placed Mr. Galloway in a lower chair than the other three panelists. If they were intending to make him feel demeaned, it didn't work. George could lie on the floor and still dominate the conversation. A very gifted speaker who actually understands every synonym of the topics he speaks of.

Well, in the 1930s it was Nazi Germany that had military might and it got away with taking bits and pieces of other countries with the blessings of some European countries because Hitler said they were German speaking people that should be a part of Germany, now the USA rules and waters around the world and uses its economic might to threaten the world with a sanction if they don't do anything America says or if they speak against the policies of the USA even if America kills innocent people in the process, because the rest of the world lacks the will to stand up against the unjust policies of the American government. (They cry what are we going to do without all the trinkets and gadgets the American business community sells to us?) Like they can't make their own stuff and forget about the evil and bad American business community that pushes their agenda on the corrupt government of the USA.
I oppose the NATO hostile policy towards Russia however Russia violated the UN Charter with regards to Crimea hence why the UN general assembly approved a resolution in March 2014 describing the annexation as illegal, several times since then UN has reaffirmed their position that the annexation of Crimea was a violation of international law, the Helsinki Accords, the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances of 1994 and the Treaty on friendship, cooperation and partnership between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The only countries to come out in support of the Russian annexation were Sudan, Syria, N Korea, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Cuba, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Zimbabwe. Vast majority of the world does not recognise the Russian annexation not even Russia's good friends like India, Pakistan, Iran, China, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia view the annexation as legal.

a righteous man and a true hero with all the meaning of the word hero
George holds the banner high for principled humanitarian policies and an internationalist perspective. He is an adept and accomplished speaker. Combative and provocative in ways that force his audience to question their ideas and positions. He demonstrates that those skills are not the preserve of a public school educated elite. That comes from his passion for justice. He clearly hates hypocrisy and has a long memory for every manifestation of it in his adversaries, detractors and the political figures he seeks to topple from power and influence. The perceptive amongst us will nevertheless notice that he has a kind heart too. He just believes that priorities dictate that he ruthlessly expose realities and expose inconsistencies in his political opponents ! Thankyou George, keep on trucking !

I barely agree with Galloway on domestic policy, but there are few other people on the planet that I agree with as much on forein policy.
