First Tangente set me back a cool 680 EUR on a Lufthansa flight (special edition and 100 EUR discount when compared to the shop). My sister now wears it, retrofitted with a sapphire glass back. That, including maintenance, was another 500 EUR -- fantastic value back then, fantastic value now. One of the prettier movements, including several Grand Seiko and Swiss stuff. Also, my first "serious" watch, so the entry level thing quite resonated with me.

I like Nomos, owned an Orion 35 a few years back. Stunning watch and incredible quality and finish. I do wish they would shorten the lugs across the line-up though, they are definitely on the "long" side. Their prices have really gone up too for us Canadians... I paid about $2000 CAD for my Orion in 2015 and now that same watch is $2700+ CAD, with no improvements since 2015. I know the CAD$ isn't that strong but surely that's not the only factor driving up the price.

Die Autobahn kannte ich bisher nur von Fotos und wusste nicht so recht, was ich davon halten sollte.
Aber im Video sieht sie wirklich gut aus. Definitiv ein Hingucker.

Refreshing take, but not only due to a woman's point of view but also since it's simple and sincere.
Also, was swaying between Junghans/Nomos for quite a while so a video like this is handy :)

Loving your content,Jenni, this channel has already become a favourite. Great to German brands getting some exposure too, lange and Glashutte original are two of my favourites. Regarding nomos,I think I respect the product more than actually like. You used the word aloof and I think it's quite apt for their product. All the best

I will put Metro into them cuz Metro is the combination of classic Bauhaus design and new modern nomos concept, this series will be the new legend

Would love to see future videos on some other German watch brands, particularly Sinn, Jung Hans, and A. Lange & Sohne. Also Nomos's Zurich World Time. Keep up the videos!

My favourite Nomos is the Orion 38 White (no date) and that’s why I bought one!

Always loved Nomos. I just ordered their catalogue from Germany and they sent me a lovely notebook with a bookmarker as well as a letter signed in ink by their CEO. Have a few watches but when I have the cash I will probably buy a Tangente. There are three watch brands based in Glasshütte that I like. A Lang & Sohn. Glashütte Original and Nomos. The other two I could not afford even second hand. May move to Germany before end of year because of crazy Brexit in the UK

I really hope there will be a Sinn version of this video! For my money, it doesn't get much better than the U1. I love your channel by the way! Keep up the amazing work!🙌

Burrito Supreme I also prefer Sinn watches and own the U1 SE. It personifies the “form follows function” design esthetic in a diver but I don’t foresee many women ever wearing one.

Just discovered your watch channel! Good stuff Jenni, will be following and watching.
I've recently been looking at some Laco and other German aviation watches.

Great review, Jenni. Thanks for introducing the German Nomos brand, something I would not, normally, have the inclination or desire to research by myself. I find the Autobahn Neomatik model design to be most innovative and iconic.

That Neomatik is a stunner, I've never even seen one before. Great choice.

All very nice watches, but I'd probably go for the 'Zürich Date'. It would be interesting to see an alternate version that borrows some aspects of the Orion though -- blued hands, thicker gold hour markers and larger date window.

Great review Jenni, I prefer the Tangente but I'm not a huge fan of the numbers, so I've only gone and pulled the trigger on a Ludwig 36mm. I guess I just prefer the numerals on the dial more at the expense of the angular lugs. You are correct though the 36mm wears larger on the wrist given the narrow bezel so worth trying in first, I just took the plunge given the COVID restrictions in place at this time. Oh and I love the playful nature of the Autobahn, but cannot justify the outlay compared to the Ludwig.

I‘like the Orion Neomatik Olivgold with date. Ttimeless design, in cool colour. Great movement, aus Glashütte. what do you think? good choice for a Dresswatch or should I wait and spend my money for a Lange.

I would love to get a Nomos one day, I have 2 Junghans Max Bill, one Chronoscopy and one plain grey Junghans. Also have something made closer to home to you, a Stowa a Stowa Antena Classic 40.

I love Nomos. All good picks but I like the big Tetra and the Ahoi.
