Hi Matt, I went through something similar many years ago and at the time I was an atheist, a Christian friend led me to Jesus and I was baptised on my 50th birthday. I was introduced to Sylvia who became my second wife and I am convinced the Lord sent her. Before Sylvia I could not save money, she put that right. Before Sylvia I had little in the way of decent clothes, she put that right Before Sylvia I had never been abroad she made a global traveller. Following a visit to my church from MAF I learned to fly light aircraft
Life is confusing and hard in my time. I love this gospel but I’ve just been out often touch with the lord. Im just so overwhelmed with life and all I want is my saviors love. This song brings me peace and comfort. I just hope one day I can feel his spirit again like I did on my mission and when I was coming back to church
No matter how far away you feel, it is never too far for Christ's love. I can tell you that I can attest. I am really struggling with some of life's challenges. These are challenges I never felt I would need to face. I sobbed much of the day and searched for a video of Christ after saying a prayer, and this popped up. This song has special meaning because I played it almost 14 years ago at my Grandma's funeral. We were very close. It has brought a warm feeling. I feel her near; more importantly, I know my Savior is near. He is knocking at the door; let him in. I hope there are brighter days ahead for you.
Pray.. don't give up. He hears you..he's setting things & people in motion that will bless your life. Have faith, keep him in your heart and mind and you'll feel it. Eventually.. you will feel it.

I passed through my crisis of faith. I promised the Lord I would follow him if he would answer my prayers. He answered them, every single one. It took years, but then again I wasn't always listening. Now I'm trying to keep my promise and help others.
I am 83 years of age and I died once, but I didn't die as I was out of my body, I could look at my body but I was no longer attached to it. I was still me but in the spirit. Gravity had no effect on me and I could move through the air or space at will, also I did not breathe air and I could project my thoughts. I looed up and saw a large pure white round disk and I knew I wanted to enter it. I remembered my love for Heavenly Father and I felt His love. I was thinking over and over "Glory to God in the Highest". As I was bout to enter the light, I remembered my wife, whom I love dearly. We met at 16 and sat on the school bus together. We were married at 18, that was now 65 years ago. We are now 83. As I was about to enter the light I remembered my wife and it was not a good time to leave her, as I looked down I was immediately sucked back into my body with a thud. I'm back I thought and I need to breathe. My body was tingling all over from lack of oxygen, I tried to breathe but could not, nor could I move. After the 3rd attempt I took a deep breath, as if a switch were turned on. As I lay there the tingling slowly left my body. I concluded it was not my time a I had more work to do in mortality. I know that I am an eternal being inhabiting this mortal body for a short while, to gain knowledge regarding good and evil and how to control the physical body before the resurrection. We are sons and daughters of Heavenly Father (who is God the Creator). After the resurrection we will still need to learn skills to create and manage worlds. Jesus Christ said "The Son can do nothing of Himself but what He seeith the Father do." John 5: 18-29 KJV, also the true relationship is given when Christ was resurrected and spoke to Mary Magdalene "go to My brethren and say unto them, I ascend to My Father and your Father and My God and your God" John 20:17 KJV. We are in a state of progression Jesus Christ said "We are the children of God and joint-Heirs with Christ" Romans 8:15-17 KJV. I was a Baptist minister at age 32 and was lead by the Holy Spirit to read the Book of Mormon, that it was a record of the Tribe of Joseph (Ephraim and Manesar). I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which is the Restored Church of Jesus Christ with the Fullness of the Gospel for 51 years and I know without any doubt that this is True. Amen
To the people who left the Church I hope these hymn's will find peace within your soul and spark a flame to bring you back to the fold. Your salvation is in God's hand and not anyone who offends you or have done you wrong in the Church. With time and God's grace things will heal and things will workout. I am one of those people who left the Church and I'm slowly coming back with a fresh start and new mindset and goals of helping others like me.
We are expecting our second baby but early this morning my wife was rushed to the hospital because of bleeding....the baby has no heartbeat...but the doctor told us to wait until 1 week if the baby was still there...and i am crying right now because we dont want to loose again our second baby...i am hoping and paying that God will let us feel that our baby is still there...the assurance that our baby that is still there......

I am not only amazed at such beautiful music but I AM AWESTRUCK! I've never heard this (there's no words to describe this beautiful song) I received the Holy Spirit earlier this evening while in prayer and I thought that I would like to hear a soft song. Come to find out there's a bunch of absolutely beautiful soft songs from these choirs. THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGER AND THE MUSICIANS! This is the only song my Mother requested to be sung at her memorial service. My Mother was a living example of the pure love of Jesus Christ. I sure do miss her.

Mikel: As a professional singer I can tell you that acoustics has little to do with it. Human beings are blessed with a wonderful set of "antennae" which enable them to tell truth and real experience from fake. Here is a little test. Stand in front of a TV switch it on and within 5 seconds you can say true or acted. You detect the sincerity of the real experience. That is what you are detecting here. They really believe and want what they are singing about. Its real not fake.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is so uplifting with beautiful singing, where I find true inspiration, although I am an evangelic Baptist its such a joyful experience to listen to such gracious music. just a blessing for me - James Jtm - 11/06/22

I have abandoned my faith and beliefs on the Mormon religion and as a matter of fact on any other religious beliefs, but in moments of pure anguish and extreme despair still my heart feels comfort and peace when I hear this beautiful hymn just like it did many years ago when as a young woman & mother sang this hymn on Sundays at my local ward chapel.

Funny thing happened at Church Today, learned missionaries work when fasting, and I am being asked to work as a Missionary in the environment that my worse enemy wouldnt live. So be it. but my schedule is my schedule

I am talking to missionaries. Getting closer to converting, tbh. This is a growing, modern denomination of Christianity that I think extolls the virtues of Christ like no other sect does.
I really like this song and how the choir sings it. They are so good at singing. I have always wanted to be a a part of this but sadly I am to young. Remember that god is always with you and that you are not alone and that he loves you.

I went to the Conference Center once and listened to them live. If you can, try doing that. Early Sunday morning is when you can listen to them while they practice. I felt peace & safety. For their last song, the choir repositions and faces the audience and sings “right to you”.

This hymn is only ever played at funerals from my experience. When i got married at the united reformed methodist church even the vicar said its a funeral song and that was 24 years ago!.

I have abandoned my faith and beliefs on the Mormon religion and as a matter of fact on any other religious beliefs, but in moments of pure anguish and extreme despair still my heart feels comfort and peace when I hear this beautiful hymn just like it did many years ago when as a young woman & mother sang this hymn on Sundays at my local ward chapel.

I went to the Conference Center once and listened to them live. If you can, try doing that. Early Sunday morning is when you can listen to them while they practice. I felt peace & safety. For their last song, the choir repositions and faces the audience and sings “right to you”.

My soul has been very blessed by this angelic voice sent by God.. I wonder how beautiful it would be in the Celestial Kingdom, together with our love ones. Our Father in Heaven and His Son are the real Conductors of this song.
