- Because of Jesus Christ We Can Navigate Life's Challenges. President Russell M. Nelson, President and Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shares his testimony that He lives! He is our Advocate with the Father and our Redeemer.
As conflicts between nations escalate, and as corruption becomes increasingly commonplace, what can help us? What can help each of us with our personal struggles and with the rigorous challenge of living in these latter days? The prophet Lehi taught a principle for spiritual survival. “Men are, that they might have joy.” Joy comes from and because of Him. He is the source of all joy. As in all things, Jesus Christ is our ultimate exemplar, “who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross.” Think of that! In order for Him to endure the most excruciating experience ever endured on earth, our Savior focused on joy! And what was the joy that was set before Him? Surely it included the joy of cleansing, healing, and strengthening us; the joy of paying for the sins of all who would repent; the joy of making it possible for you and me to return home. Without His Resurrection, death would be the end. Our Savior’s Atonement made eternal life a possibility and immortality a reality for all. He lives! He is our Advocate with the Father, our Exemplar, and our Redeemer. #BecauseofHim

First time watching this and I wanna say thank you to the Church for releasing spiritually uplifting solo videos presenting the testimonies of each of the 15 living apostles and prophets from Elder Patrick Kearon leading up to President Russell M. Nelson, in preparation for the much-anticipated worldwide General Conference this April 2023. Can't believe this global event is in its 194th year!!!!!!! I'm so excited for the Church's plans to build new temples, updates within the world, divine revelation from God through President Nelson and his counselors and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, testimonies from the leaders assigned to speak, sustaining of Elder Patrick Kearon, new General Authority Seventies and General Officers to be called and sustained, new Area Leadership assignments, 36 new missions to be established, beautiful music to be provided by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and invited choirs, Church membership statistics and progress and growth, and most importantly the celebration of the Savior's Resurrection through talks.
Our Holy Redeemer gave us the greatest Easter gift by suffering our imperfections and He defeated death and Rose on Easter Sunday, making immortality and an eternity with our Heavenly Father and Him a reality for those who enter the covenant path. Thank you for your encouraging and heartfelt words beloved Prophet Nelson. ❤❤❤

This is a lesson I had to learn on my mission. It was a pretty hard time for me, with people experiencing joy all around me and so few hearing the words I was sharing, but it made it worth it to see some coming closer to Christ. I knew they would experience joy and that eventually I would see many of them in the Celestial kingdom.

I want to share my experience. I was a member for 40 years. Was born into the church. I did YM, served a mission got married in the temple. I now have no belief that the church is true for reasons that a personal and wont share here. But since being out of the church I have more controll of my finances, I have less anxiety and I am so much more happy and at peace. I still feel the same promptings and feeling that I did before. Life is so much more fullfilling I get to still serve and help people but I do it because I choose too.

Why should I turn my life over to Jesus when he has never been there for me or answer any of my prayers
Sometimes we only want what we want and we forget that the Lord knows what is best for us. True happiness comes from serving the Lord through serving His children. As we become His hands and forget our own desires He can shape us into the most magnificent version of ourselves. He does live and He truly answers all our prayers but not always how we expect they should be answered. Faith in Jesus Christ is not seeing Him as a genie who grants wishes but as The Lord who has given us one thing to do which is to keep His commandments. Trust Him and you will begin to see His blessings and you will realize His perfect love for you ❤❤
When the time comes, a change will come over you that will fill you with such joy and then you will teach us all the answer to your question. I will add my prayer to yours that it may be so.
That's a good question. I don't know your personal circumstances but have felt that God didn't answer my heartfelt prayers many years ago. I recommend inviting the missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ to meet with you and explain how you feel. Pray with them. Don't give up on God. He has not given up on you.

Sometimes, we have to refocus our will, to his will, then we will see how abundantly he has been in our lives and just how much he has done for us everyday. It's all tooo easy to become spiritually blind these days.
