I understand what you're saying. My parents passed away a year after each other due to cancer issues in '05 and '06. Listening to this kind of music does ease my mind down when I get to thinking about them and other things as well.

My lovely son passed away a year ago without any serious disease, handsome n' healthy boy and also a good one. Everyone shock especially me as his mom..but finally we believe that Jesus knows the Best for him and we all will meet again someday...especially with our Lord, Jesus Chris,amen.

Decades ago, while living a life of faith in my hometown, when we broke up with someone at church, we sang this hymn a lot, sometimes she'd rltears, and somrletimes our hearts were depressed. Listing to this song, thinking about the past makes me sad. Wherever we go, wherever we live, our Lord always accompanies us. Thank you for allowing us to live with gratitude.

As a missionary, I mourn with our brothers and sisters who lost their loved ones from this COVID-19 pandemic. We know that families can be together forever even after this life. And I hope this song will give you comfort.
Yesterday I was asked to make the benediction and I started to pray for those in ICU with covid-19 as well as those on ventilator's and those who we're in the daily stats after being diagnosed with this dangerous and terrible disease. I too have heard this sung at many funerals and have had tears pour from my eyes thinking we were singing this saying farewell to our loved ones. Then I realized that they too were probably singing it to us as a prayer that God would care for us till we joined them at the end of our mortal tenure. With greater understanding and appreciation my eyes still fill with tears of gratitude and love.
Sure Brother, there is some gospel songs that remind us about our loved ones, Especially if they use to listen to such a songs. But we'll soon be all together with our Heavenly Father and our loved ones... The reason why we also have to preach the Good news to our relative so that we all can meet each another in Heaven once we end up our mission on this earth.

i was about 5 years old. we were moving to the west pacific after my mother had died, and every time i hear this song they sung to us i just cry like a baby. thank you.
Some thirty years ago, this was sung at my little boys funeral along with,' I am a Child of God'. When ever it is sung I see his face clearly before me the night he died. It brings tears of sorrow, hope and joy all at the same time. I am so grateful for the restored knowledge that families are forever and my family and I will only have to wait and be lovingly patient a little while longer to all be together again. .

I raised 6 kids and have felt that the greatest burden in life would be the loss of a baby, a child. GOd bless you in bearing this burden,and for the times when you can turn it into joy at the upcoming reunion ! im not saying this because im a member im saying this from experience i have cousins that are Wesleyan Methodist and Catholics there songs either are too loud or there not sung with passion with the lds church we sing calmly in that way we feel the holy ghost.
Sounds like you have not found the right church for YOU. I tried out many different churches before I became a member at a Methodist church in California. Not all churches are like "Jazz Clubs", nor are all churches traditional. THANK GOD for the diversity. As human beings we are all different, and what appeals to one individual does not necessarily appeal to another. I am amazed by all the judgemental comments coming from what I assume are Christians. Find a church that you are comfortable with, that you are inspired by and let others do the same. We don't need to put down folks/churches simply because we don't like the type of music they sing.
My wife passed away in September and just watching this video and listening to the song gives me peace and hope that I will meet her one day. My kids miss her a lot since than. I will make sure I tell my son, who just turned 9 months old, that her mother misses him the most.

I was inactive for about 10 years, straight. My wife became a convert about 2 years into our marriage. She was taking the lessons on our front porch as I was at work and the missionaries were coming by for the “focus 15” to see me and I would just be nice to them but let them know I was not wanting to come back. Little did I know, through the spirit, the missionaries and my wife via Heavenly Father and Christ; I too would be coming back home and be married and in the temple with my new family and wonderful eternal companion. Humbled and grateful is an understatement. There are not the words to express my gratitude and love for my Heavenly Father, Christ, the gospel, my wife and our children!!

In her last hours, the last words my precious mother uttered to us, "please sing, God be With you Til we meet Again." She barely had the strength to say so, but this was her dying prayer for us. We managed to sing through it, and it was sung several days later at her Celebration of Life service. What a beautiful, powerful and precious pray for hope with eternity.....

This is a song of the departed as a comfort to those who they have left. Behind. Our pastor and my grandpa just died recently and we buried them this morning and afternoon. this song just suddenly crossed ny mind and i sung it but i wasn't expecting that the congregation knew the song too and they sung along with me. I testify the church is true. I testify that I've had more personal revelations of Jesus Christ speaking to me such as reading scripture and doing my part in order to reach the life I so desire.

My lovely son passed away a year ago without any serious disease, handsome n' healthy boy and also a good one. Everyone shock especially me as his mom..but finally we believe that Jesus knows the Best for him and we all will meet again someday...especially with our Lord, Jesus Chris,amen.

Ever since grandma died, i come here to remember the moment this hymn was played in the church, and i can’t forget how i cried it alll out
Decades ago, while living a life of faith in my hometown, when we broke up with someone at church, we sang this hymn a lot, sometimes she'd rltears, and somrletimes our hearts were depressed.
Listing to this song, thinking about the past makes me sad.

I too have heard this sung at many funerals and have had tears pour from my eyes thinking we were singing this saying farewell to our loved ones. Then I realized that they too were probably singing it to us as a prayer that God would care for us till we joined them at the end of our mortal tenure. With greater understanding and appreciation my eyes still fill with tears of gratitude and love.

Some thirty years ago, this was sung at my little boys funeral along with,' I am a Child of God'. When ever it is sung I see his face clearly before me the night he died. It brings tears of sorrow, hope and joy all at the same time. I am so grateful for the restored knowledge that families are forever and my family and I will only have to wait and be lovingly patient a little while longer to all be together again. .

I'm so sorry for your lost. As a parent of 2 children, your story brought a tear or two. However, I do get a sense of happiness knowing that one day we will meet our loved ones.
I raised 6 kids and have felt that the greatest burden in life would be the loss of a baby, a child. GOd bless you in bearing this burden,and for the times when you can turn it into joy at the upcoming reunion ! ANd for the faith in GOd's purposes - that when you see the big picure, your heart will fill with gratitude that your child was chosen for god's purposes :)

im not saying this because im a member im saying this from experience i have cousins that are Wesleyan Methodist and Catholics there songs either are too loud or there not sung with passion with the lds church we sing calmly in that way we feel the holy ghost.

Sounds like you have not found the right church for YOU. I tried out many different churches before I became a member at a Methodist church in California. Not all churches are like "Jazz Clubs", nor are all churches traditional. THANK GOD for the diversity. As human beings we are all different, and what appeals to one individual does not necessarily appeal to another. I am amazed by all the judgemental comments coming from what I assume are Christians. Find a church that you are comfortable with, that you are inspired by and let others do the same. We don't need to put down folks/churches simply because we don't like the type of music they sing.
My wife passed away in September and just watching this video and listening to the song gives me peace and hope that I will meet her one day. My kids miss her a lot since than. I will make sure I tell my son, who just turned 9 months old, that her mother misses him the most.

I was inactive for about 10 years, straight. My wife became a convert about 2 years into our marriage. She was taking the lessons on our front porch as I was at work and the missionaries were coming by for the “focus 15” to see me and I would just be nice to them but let them know I was not wanting to come back. Little did I know, through the spirit, the missionaries and my wife via Heavenly Father and Christ; I too would be coming back home and be married and in the temple with my new family and wonderful eternal companion. Humbled and grateful is an understatement. There are not the words to express my gratitude and love for my Heavenly Father, Christ, the gospel, my wife and our children!!
Even our power of active sensing the holy music by ourselves is created by God, so I cannot quite understand how we could possibly become "inactive".
My granddaughter passed on last year March 31st this hymn comforts me each time I hear it❤

This song was a trigger for me today ì cried soberly attending a funeral the song was played all over and over again i missed my husband so much 🙏
In her last hours, the last words my precious mother uttered to us, "please sing, God be With you Til we meet Again." She barely had the strength to say so, but this was her dying prayer for us. We managed to sing through it, and it was sung several days later at her Celebration of Life service. What a beautiful, powerful and precious pray for hope with eternity.....

I lost my Dad a few years ago.He was 86 years old.last month I saw him him saw him in a dream,smiling happily at me.He was very youthful in his looks,about 25 years old,like a resurrected body.Thus hymn brings back the memory that I love my father very much and we will be united again after I live this mortal life together with my mum,siblings,children and descendents as it is God's Will to us.

I have had many relatives pass away as well and this song plus my testimony of eternal families brings happiness to me.
I pray for my mom who passed away 2011 but I still think of her, I pray God is with you momma! I love you I’ll see you again ❤

I left the church years ago and my relationship with God has never been stronger. I guess I lost faith in those who claim to represent Him but it made me realize that my faith in Him is what matters and it is unconditional.
My dad went “home” just before Christmas 2 years ago. Still miss talking with him and getting his advice. Comforts me to know he’s with mom and happy. God bless you

I testify the church is true. I testify that I've had more personal revelations of Jesus Christ speaking to me such as reading scripture and doing my part in order to reach the life I so desire.
I too can testify, this is The Christ, The True Messiah, The Creator of heaven and earth, The Redeemer, The Only Begotten Son of The Father, The Holy One of Israel, even Jesus Christ, The King who will reign during the Millennium for a thousand years

I just lost my GREAT~Grandmother (GG) 5 days ago, and saw her yesterday at the viewing. As I was speaking to my non-member family, I was giving them the best comfort I could give. I know for me this song has been my rock. And upon parting her yesterday … this title was what I said as I exited the viewing room.
I KNOW I will see her again and it give me comfort and in passing this song along to my family~ I hope it does the same.
