Please know that Jehovah God is worshipped all over the world! It surprises me that so many people seem to be surprised that Indian people are praising and worshipping God through song! I was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa, grew up in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, where we sang all these songs and more!! Beautiful singing! God be praised!!

My husband died 4 years ago of a major heart attack. We were good members of the Lds church. Now I am with a boyfriend who turned his back on the church . I want so much to have my good Lds life back.This song means so much. It’s humbling and reminder of just how much I love him and need my savior. All I want is a good full life in the church I love so much. This helps me to have hope that I am on the right path.

Yesterday in fasting service we sang this song before going down on our knees pray. When we went down on our knees to pray I found myself just singing this song.
I suffer really badly with Mental Health Disorder and daily thoughts of sucide I used to be able to talk to my mum but she’s gone now I cry a lot every day i come here to try and get some comfort this was one of my mums favourites

Being married to an unbeliever does have some drawbacks, but, it has actually been health issues, with both my husband and myself that has kept me away. This song has literally taken powerful temptations away from me. The part in the second verse when the women sing "temptations lose their power" is the most powerful part in the song in my opinion. The power of their unity in singing to the Lord dispels any magnitude of temptation.

Doothless...In 1993, I vacationed in Salt Lake. During my time there, I visited Mormon Tabernacle, and had the honor of sitting in on one of their rehearsals. It literally blew me away...I will cherish that moment in time.
It's Tabernacle Choir of Temple Square is the new name now. When i listen to their songs, the Holy Spirit of Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ are present. We need Them every hour in our life.

This is one of my favorite songs from the choir. They are truly amazing and I will never say anything bad about them. We had the sisters over on Sunday and they brought up this song and it was beautiful. I love the church and will always be a member. God is such a beautiful person and I pray for the people who don't know him. It is sad. And this song can bring them great joy.

an true testament and pure beauty of church, I' was excommunicated years back and deserved to be but now I long for the church. I have over time delevolped some bad habits and unsure if broke them would they remain as not doing them.

I have no idea if I have enough time but I would be so grateful to play this at my Mums funeral on 19th September 2024 but the Anglican Church feels they need permission! I am a Latter Day Saint and when I played this to my non member daughters we all sat in the kitchen very emotional listening to this one and we wanted this one so much so I hope and pray that you will see this with enough time 🙏🏻

I am so glad I stumbled onto this site. I am sort of new to computers, and was looking at You Tube when I saw this. I am a member altho I haven't been in church for about 5 years. Being married to an unbeliever does have some drawbacks, but, it has actually been health issues, with both my husband and myself that has kept me away. We just moved to the desert again, and he can breathe and I can move without pain. Look out Pahrump LDS Church, I am coming home.

I had a bad nightmare and I came straight here to listen, I felt the spirit, so of course when I saw the 600 dislikes I thought "The dont truely get the feeling, spirit, hope, faith and all else that is in this song"
On my death bed I hope I'm lucid enough to sing the last line, "oh bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee."
When my great grandmother was on her death bed and unconscious, we sang this song to her and she mouthed along.

This song has literally taken powerful temptations away from me. The part in the second verse when the women sing "temptations lose their power" is the most powerful part in the song in my opinion. The power of their unity in singing to the Lord dispels any magnitude of temptation.

Doothless...In 1993, I vacationed in Salt Lake. During my time there, I visited Mormon Tabernacle, and had the honor of sitting in on one of their rehearsals. It literally blew me away...I will cherish that moment in time.
It's Tabernacle Choir of Temple Square is the new name now. When i listen to their songs, the Holy Spirit of Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ are present. We need Them every hour in our life.

Good that you have a way to cope. I say a little prayer and try to visualize the temptation as a great monster or enemy to defeat and that gives me strength through Jesus to carry on, and I can testify He'll do the same for you, in His Me, Even our Rock and Salvation, Amen.

This is one of my favorite songs from the choir. They are truly amazing and I will never say anything bad about them. We had the sisters over on Sunday and they brought up this song and it was beautiful. I love the church and will always be a member. God is such a beautiful person and I pray for the people who don't know him. It is sad. And this song can bring them great joy.

an true testament and pure beauty of church, I' was excommunicated years back and deserved to be but now I long for the church. I have over time delevolped some bad habits and unsure if broke them would they remain as not doing them.
