We played this wonderful music on the funeral of my father yesterday in The Netherlands. Thank you so much for making this. This music makes me feel so close to my father.

Every time I hear this hymn, I cry. I'm reminded of all my faults and how short I've come in life. This hymn renews my will to do better, to have the Christ-like spirit and to be forever thankful for Jesus' sacrifice. I hope those looking for God finds Him; you will experience peace so magnificent.
Ingrid O'Reilly I feel the same way and all I do is cry about how short I have come with my life too. I just feel I haven't done as well or as much for humanity as I could have. You see I don't believe anyone's life is worth it unless you've done as much as possible for others. I think I have fallen short too.
It's rather equal which religion we have, but this song has no borders for each of us. I'm catholic, living in Germany and played this song on my saxophone as my mother died, 600 km away from me, I just had to play it an at the same moment I knew, she was leaving us, away from pain, but I had to accompany her with my music and so we shared moments as mother and daughter, moments that we never had before. It was a great honour to share these moments with my big Mom, moments of peace, showing into the light, forgive and forget all those horrible things done to us. My Dad passed away about 8 yrs ago and I still struggle with it daily and I still think of him daily...it is hard when you lose a parent but I bet your Mom felt this song as she went to be in Heaven and that you will one day see her again. I also struggled with the passing of my mother, it was replaced with hope after six long years of blaming my Creator. It would only be after a missionary spoke to me with such conviction in his voice. I felt the Spirit of God testify to my heart that all of us were created by Him and continuity in that journey is dependent on our obedience to His commandments. I truly think you created a bond to remind you of all the joys your mother brought from that single moment. One that extends from birth until her passing, not many persons have that opportunity. It described her faith in God and gave her comfort when times were difficult, and sustained her hope in everlasting life through the ransom sacrifice of her Savior Christ Jesus. Even to this day I can hear her singing this to me, as if I were still a little boy, and I find peace. It is my hope I will see her in the Resurrection.
Not this version though. The one played on titanic was the "Propior Deo" version. They are similar, wich is why the survivors of titanic probably still recognised it.
And to think that these fine young men have served their missions and are now out in the world, hopefully still being great examples for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.

My son's close friend (both boys aged 12 at the time) was murdered by his stepfather 25 years ago. I was thinking of this song as it was played at his funeral. Also I remember it on one of the titanic films. It's a fab hymn.

Magnificient! I greatly appreciate the love and devotion Mormons have for God. I cannot tell you how greatly their love for one another has impacted my life. I listen to Mormon conferences on cable and record them. Powerfully impacting. This past week I listened to Elder Craig Zwick and his lovely wife. What struck me most powerfully is the depth of love that exudes from him to his wife. We just don't see that level of love between most couples. Thank you for your witness of love to the world.

I every time I hear this song, I think of RMS Titanic breaking and slipping beneath the waves and all those aboard her. Rest In Peace to the 1,496 lives lost on April 15th, 1912.

This hymn was playing in my mind the night my Mother went to be with Jesus and the Lord. She passed into heaven on 03-16-2016 at 6:10 PM. The first verse was playing in my mind all night along like God was telling me everything would be fine. Thank you for the wonderful singing.

This song was my maternal grandmother's favorite hymn. It described her faith in God and gave her comfort when times were difficult, and sustained her hope in everlasting life through the ransom sacrifice of her Savior Christ Jesus. Even to this day I can hear her singing this to me, as if I were still a little boy, and I find peace. It is my hope I will see her in the Resurrection.

I was thinking of this song as it was played at his funeral. Also I remember it on one of the titanic

Magnificient! I greatly appreciate the love and devotion Mormons have for God. I cannot tell you how greatly their love for one another has impacted my life. I listen to Mormon conferences on cable and record them. Powerfully impacting. This past week I listened to Elder Craig Zwick and his lovely wife. What struck me most powerfully is the depth of love that exudes from him to his wife. We just don't see that level of love between most couples. Thank you for your witness of love to the world.
