I don't know what it is with Moab that causes 75% of people recording it to lose their brain cells and completely ruin the experience with vertical video, so thank you to your camera woman! #DTJ
There isn't one; two completely different machines. The RMAX 1000 is a direct competitor to the Polaris General; it will never touch the KRX due to a much different suspension design and less travel.
Making sure to mention no jerky feel in the trans at very low speed and no squeaky suspension. He’s speaking directly to all Polaris owners. All they know is squeaking and jerking. Lol. Trust me I own one. Can’t believe I wasted my money on a Polaris. Now hopefully some idiot will give me to much for it so that I can go buy a well built side by side.
I bought a Polaris general XP 2 months ago because it was at the top of its class. Always have had Yamahas but their SxSs didn’t impress me none. First Polaris I’ve owned and the fit and finish is sub par compared to the Japanese built machines. The general squeaks the doors and bed clunk and bang, the little plastic rivets behind the seats fall out every ride ( 6 of them ). The general is fun it’s fast and sporty and I love the ride command. But it’s like comparing snap on to craftsman when it comes to quality fit and finish. I even debated on buying an X2 Wolverine but it really lacked in the motor and suspension. I’m really bummed now that Yamaha has a comparable machine and I bought a Polaris.
What about the tires? At 14:00 the lugs seem worn out? Or is it the video quality not showing it decent... How is the internal/external noise compared to an 850 X2? Hope you understand, cause I'm Dutch speaking lol
I own a 2019 ranger xp 1000. WHAT A PILE OF TRASH. Never been wet even to the floor boards, never been driven hard, always garage kept, maybe been in 4wd 3 times in sand, squeaks and rattles terribly, needed trans work at 200 miles, Polaris wouldn’t cover it, needed more trans work at 2100 miles. Now it has 2500 miles and it’s still jerkin and squeaking everywhere I go. Still looks new and the engine seems good, but everything connected to it just sucks. This is my only side by side ownership experience, but I do own 5 quads. 3 are Yamaha, 2 are Polaris. All 3 Yamahas have been beaten on pretty good, grizzly 700 has 13,000 miles on it and is 100% stock except the tires and obviously I’ve changed the oil. Still runs like new. Zero trans slip, no squeaks. Both Polaris are broken. I really don’t know how Polaris stays in business.
I sure appreciate your videos! I would like to see some shots of the RMAX outside the cab crawling up some of these obstacles. Thanks again!
It's coming!
I will have to buy one of these units in the spring. Really like that green colour too. Nice sxs for sure with Yamaha quality and reliability!

I will let her know about your kind words! It is hard to create a good viewing experience in Moab for sure!
From Australia. This place is on my bucket list. Interesting to see the comparison between the Yamaha and the KRX.

I do now that Kawasaki is having problem with steer knuckle I believe that's what it's called
@@techs1smh13 The problem has been fixed on 2021's and they are retrofitting the 2020's with the new parts.

Yamaha SXS are made in USA
Trade it in...
dwarden3 don’t matter the quality fit and finish of many of the pieces are engineered and produced in Japan
I did that trail with a MU500 Massimo years ago.
That’s Hardcore, makes my video’s look like child’s play!
Have you driven the Rmax 4? How well does it do in the rocks compared to the Rmax 2? Seems like it might feel a little tippy.

YAMAHA : WOLVERINE : 1.000 C.C. Ótimo :Pick-up : Para Qualquer Estradas ??? :
Asfalto : Trilhas : Areia : Pedregulhos : Gostei !!!!
Parabéns !!!! Yamaha 👍🏻😄👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Still a trail mode fan or did crawl get your interest?
Trail mode is still my favorite. However crawl mode will be perfect for a "newbie" when it comes to steep ledgy terrain!
I'm really thinking a 4 seater will be my next sxs.
How is the cabin for room?
It is very roomy!
How is the suspension feeling?
Very good! We like the Medium shock setting best for Moab!
@ 7:15 are you in diff lock?
No.
Far superior unit than a rattle trap Polaris like I own...
Which Polaris model do you own?
RUTHLESS MOTOR SPORTS - BIG PINE SPORTS
2014 RZR 1000 2 seater
@@itsquick2 you're trying to say a vehicle 6 years newer is superior? No wayyy
new machines dont typically rattle that comes with ageing bushings and ball joints. with time this yamaha will do the same

Good decision! You will LOVE it!
..."need some help?"- guess needs a new ride?! ;- ()

Sounds loud
It's not near as loud as it sounds in the video.
