    I fight orthodox and my left hook is awfully weak, unlike my right hand, I cant deliver quick powerful hooks with my left hand, only jabs. Any tips to remedy this? Do you recommend I switch to southpaw from time to time?

    • @viktorodehnal5959
      @viktorodehnal5959 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Bullet Phil You should just practise it a lot ... focus on the left hook, it´s a powerful weapon. Just keep on practising it ... since your left hand is closer to the target, you don´t have the distance your right hand has to develop the speed ... again ... the key is in the snap ... snap gives you power nevermind the distance you are throwing from ... so develop the snap ... use your feet and your hips and power of the left hand will increase rapidly :)

      @zaidanmockbill7818 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will become stronger the more you use your jab and develop your body muscles around the moment needed to generate torque in the left hook I had the same problem now I can snap a power left hook twice in a row like pop pop

    Why do you perform your heavybag boxing routine barefoot ... ? Seems odd to me :)

  • @user-lu8mf8vm6r
    @user-lu8mf8vm6r 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    you're speeding up during power shots Nate. Power shots should be performed one click slower to achieve maximum impact force on the bag allow me to say. If at the end of the power shots workout the wrists are not in pain, power shots haven't being performed correctly.

    • @1spotlight383
      @1spotlight383 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      doesnt matter

    • @dalialjene9100
      @dalialjene9100 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      not sure if you're kidding or not, first off its kind of obvious that he's not going 100% this guy's technique is on point and is really fast , not trying to wind his punches. And the shakiness of the bag depends on the hardness of the material inside and the length of the chains from the hanging point. the bag is heavy and stiff. Hes strong.

    • @steadylife7415
      @steadylife7415 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fleisch Klops i think wht he meant is that we cant feel any power in those shots not that the guy s not strong or the bag too heavy neither one of those true.. but simply cause he doesnt work power as much as speed its more speed workout. Simply cause he doesnt put any weight on those shots .. you want to punch hard and heavy every punch and the bag must be heavy as F or really hard if not heavy wich is not the case here...
