Full time benefits and pension is more valuable than 10 grand. But also like he said there are easier jobs that pay more and that’s always the case if you’re willing to get screws by a company because you don’t wanna quit or have some misguided loyalty to a soulless corporation then that’s on you
This guy is a skinflint cheap ass through and through. He should have given her huge bonus cash, paid off her bills, and offered more. He's not fixing his so-called problem in any way. Our whole extended family will boycott their tracks and races now. Thanks for the honest truth about that business.

I'd have to say this is probably the worst episode I've seen in regards to rewarding employees. They literally gave nothing away and basically congratulated the employees on a job well done while offering them... more jobs.

Money and animals never is a good mix. Horse racing in particular is horrible! Very dirty industry!
It's a great mix, but a few scoundrels give the entire racing industry a bad name. No one ever hears about the wonderful, supportive, and diligent care the majority of trainers give the horses. The only ones you hear about are the horror stories. Do you know about the TIP program? That's the Thoroughbred Incentive Program, and many shows offer TIP classes, where points are accumulated over the year and we have prizes and awards given out in recognition to their new owners. Did you know that the Jockey Club offers services to find old or slow racehorses homes and new careers? The media, no matter the subject, knows what sells, and happy events ain't it. They also don't mind embellishing things to make the story even more miserable. Yes, there are horrendous things that can happen around a track, but they are nowhere near as numerous as the good things that don't get mentioned.
