She spends 18 years working for your company and all they do is make a awareness campaign that no one ever even heard of. That was the most pathetic bs I’ve seen. I run a small business and I compensate my employees so well. Hell all their food is paid for and they even get bonuses every month (depending on sales).

Dude I was about to say this. Everyday she plays a roll in society helping all other members of her community of thousands get coffee for their work day or routine to be productive getting paid most likely close to minimum wage while her boss who recieves bonuses more than she can make in months of work tells her that she is getting awareness for her life issue. He sits at a desk and thinks of ways of cutting costs as much as possible, which usually is just paying people like her less and less than the rising cost of living, and lives a life of abundant luxury.
I thought he was gonna give her one of his kidneys 😂

I’ve been on dialysis for 4 years now and pray every day for God to touch the heart of someone to become a donor.

Sadly I was an organ donor until I was diagnosed with a autoimmune disease called fibromyalgia I'm no longer allowed to donate and not even blood.

This is one of the stories that touched me. After seeing how these bosses live in hugh mansions from workers who are sacrificing on small salaries to make a living in America. I am glad he experienced what his employees went through and saw how food was wasted but decided to change and have it delivered to the homeless. What a blessing in disguised. At least he saw how hard the workers committed themselves. I am thankful that he got the opportunity to see the difference between his lifestyle and his employees, bcus it made him conscience of what goes on to make his life worth living better than many.

He is making more in one year than everyone in that store makes combined on all shifts. This show is meant to decieve you into thinking CEOs of mega corps are actually nice guys just like you! When in reality their whole purpose is to make the company as much profits (company profits are gains not paid back to the workers who made them happen in the first place like Delores who do the work) as possible and him going on this show is a part of that good public persona crafting.
At first I was also feeling really good ab this one, then I thought about how little he actually gave her. An ad campaign with her name on it :(. Not a bonus to help pay for treatment, not time off to work on her health. A 7/11 ad campaign with her name. Ik he tried to do her justice but I feel like it was so little to what a man in that position could actually do. No hate just sayin
In ALL these shows like "Undercover" boss. I just can understand, how all those people doesn't know who's the boss on the business they working for.
I'm curious, what is your professional background? Because when I worked in the food service/retail, very few employees knew who the CEO was or even what he/she looked like.
But going into my "big boy" job, everyone knew the name of the CEO and what he looked like. Its simply the nature of the industry. Most 7-11 store employees are doing this part-time or as a job to simply get by. Whereas a financial analyst for the NYSE is making this a career

I watch this show from Australia and I can see the huge cultural difference between America and us. We would say 'Pay a reasonable salary to your staff so they don't have to rely on your charity", another point is why do they give people a new car when the recipient could probably find a lot more useful things to do with the money. Big noting by picking out a couple of workers and giving them a tiny chunk of the business profit while not really changing their world is more about the boss then the worker.
Joseph Dipinto I didn't get this type of treatment when I kept getting sick from grills leaking gas and I ended up with 20% carbon monoxide poisoning and was called a lier and denied workers comp and kicked off the property for a month, harassed, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Ah! the reality. Much more likely to happen than you win the lottery and have the boss give you a moment of fame and little else.
