This is inspiring and gives people that may not be able to paint inside of a shop or garage hope. It would be interesting if you would do a closer up walk around of that paint job and point out the areas that you think came out weak and for what reason that way maybe we can try to adjust to avoid it, you were moving mighty fast fo sho! I've been watching a lot of videos of how to paint a car at home. I bought a huge 220v 60 gal compressor with 10hp and a $350 DeVilbiss gun and all sorts of supplies and paint. Spent thousands (still less than a pro would charge) and now that I see the results you got with much cheaper and lesser equipment, I feel so much better that my car will turn out ok! 🤣🤣 thank you!

@@chris01479 I use much larger air compressors and much better paint guns now. All of my work comes out professional.. sometimes it just requires a little know how and extra work. Quality is not in the shop, however, it's in the individual.

If I go to a bodywork shop it will cost me $ 700 to spray on the bonnet, top and the boot so I'd find too expensive and not worth for a 18 years old car. If you can help me how I can find alternative to use air spray gun to spray on my car that will be great.

It would work I think I do have a infrared heater 1500 watts so it could dry the paint fast too. Never painted in Michigan in the winter or cold though it gonna be 40 something tommorow but me would paint on weekend if do it because work in the week don't have much time to paint on a weekday.

Looking at doing the same setup your showing. One question though! Do you have issues not using a large water separator?

How small can the compressor be if I'm just thinking about spraying a clear/pearl over the existing black paint on my car. It's a small car too. Old Porsche Boxster. Several years ago, I painted another small car in my garage (Isuzu Impulse) using a Wagner Power Painter and it turned out pretty nice. I still have one of those HVLP painters, but I also have a small compressor and a couple of guns.

I’ll probably need at least 60 gallons to do a pearl and the reason for that is if the pressure drop too low on the smaller ones u your pearl will be blotched. You need a lot of pressure to spray a pearl

This is the type of information I was looking for where he said when the air compressor kick on and ur pressure to ur gun gets low I just get closer to the car when it cut off and pressure gets higher I’ll bring the gun back now that is information worth sharing unlike all the other professionals that think everyone has massive air tanks sitting at there house

That looks great. Can you rent the painting machine? Also, why could the police come? Is this illegal? ❤
