What do you think about the Jaguar XF?
Less than 300hp? Hard pass from me. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful car, and if I was in my late 60's, this would be a great vehicle. I'll stick with my 567hp F85 X5m for now 😁👌👍
I like what Jaguar is doing. A restrained sedan, with an epic nameplate, at a reasonable price. Jaguar wants more XF sedans on the road. Me too!

I have a question. Why do so many YT car reviewers work outside, under the sun's direct heat, in a parking lot? I've begged YT channel hosts to rent studio space where cars can be reviewed under controlled temperature, lighting and audio levels. Mike, the quality of your channel content is "Best in Class". ACCELER8's presentation is so outstanding it can even make the BMW 430i look attractive! Thank you for your excellent video reviews.
It is because people will see how is the car's road presence which is subdued in studio.
I love this. I am a Mercedes guy, My dad has a 2020 Mercedes S560 4 matic AMG line, but I gotta say, Jaguar really hit it out of the park with the styling on the XF. It kind of looks like the one in No Time to Die. I can't wait see it feature in that movie, along with so many other Aston Martins!

i am mercedes guy too... got one mercedes C class W205 on my birthday november 2016.. traded it and got a brand new Jaguar XFL [in china we get L series & the length is 5102 mm] in May 2024.. Day night difference between my C class & XFL... i tried the new E class but i didnt like the exhaust notes.. fake exhaust.. and no good driving dynamics.. went with XFL simply because its timeless and going to be all electric from 2025.. Jag is understated & i love it that way...
Stunning motorcar. Being an Englishman I would take this over anything else in the same class. It looks great and drives very well. 10/10

Tata motors have 50% and Tata sons have 50% both came in tata group.
In 2008 company's valuation is 3.1 billion and Tata group buys at 2.3 billion ( cash ).I am not saying it's not British company. Just a subsidiary of indian brand. And profits goes to tata group not American or British.

Good review.. I just ordered a 2022 same car but in Santorini Black with a black interior and head liner. The only thing I upgraded was the stereo system, I’m leasing the car for only 2 years and that’s it. The reason why I bough this car is that I’m getting out of my 2018 XE 25t in March and that car was really good I still get compliments on its design . I was going to go into a BMW but I changed my mind because I saw this car parked in front of a restaurant a couple of weeks ago and it just blew me away the car is stunning in person . So I’ll enjoy for 2 years and see if I keep it or move on keep up the great car reviews .😊

Jaguar is an Indian company now and they are doing an amazing job in designing new models
They are designed and built completely in the UK. There is a factory in China but it’s an assembly plant

India had nothing to do with the designe or engineering of this car.
The reason the rear seats cannot be dropped from inside is for security. You can lock your bag/coat/valuables in the boot when you park the car, if someone breaks a window and climbs in the still cannot access the boot. This car needs the key to unlock the doors even if you get into the cab via the window you cannot unlock the doors from inside. 🤷♂️

Great video! Cinematography is on point. I have a Xf but with the supercharged V6 and its a blast to drive.
Which state are you from bro ? What about potholes and bumps? I want an XE from Tamil Nadu it I am not sure of the ground clearance is any good.

Jaguar's issue is that they don't know who they are anymore. Instead of catering for who wants them, they now cater to their corporate mission goals. Jaguar, all we want is a gorgeous new high tech XKR with a V8 engine with added electric engines. A combination that can give you lower than before mpg on economy and crazy rumble and speed when you step on it.

The car has this elegant design about it and beautiful interior with nice color options. I wish it had a V6 mild hybrid like the F-pace. Regardless, all auto makers are investing and pushing for electrification and ICE cars value will completely diminish in the future.

I believe when a hand is puttin on shifter it will cover shifting indicators, if it is after the stick will cover it. Maybe left side, toward driver will make a better choise.

i have a 2015 jaguar xf v8 supercharged, and i love the power and feel of it, the interior is a bit dated compared to this one but i love mine so much!

I have a 2018 XF 25T 2.0T and it's awesome. Not a single problem since owning it except for 1 A/C freon refill and 2 recall fix.

Jaguars make some of the sexiest cars ever.
My lease coming to an end on my 2021 BMW 540i. Took a peek at the 2024 XF. When I opened the trunk, I noticed the button on the lid to just close it. There's no second button to close and lock everything. These are the little things that make a big difference and make me always go back to BMW.
I'd rathers 12V port for back seats over USB ports, it give an option to use my preferred USB hub with preferred ports (USB-A or USB-C),(USB-B mostly for printers & some HD).
This my dream car the exact one so beautiful I am going to have it by next year.

How do you compare it to Kia stinger or the G70
2022 model is it better ? worthy ?
No it's not better. It's more spacious then the G70, And more luxurious then the stinger. That's about it. The stinger is 20k cheaper.

The Jaaaaaag is a long distance cruiser - GT as it's known. It won't rattle your teeth out or pummel your back. But, it if you want a car that is a great compromise rather than "Smash your balls into dust BMW!!". It's not American muscle car loud and why should it be. It's an undramtic fast car that will eat the miles instead of eating YOU!.
I own one and it's GRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAAAAAAAT. IT'S AS SEXY AS HELL.

This vs. The Stinger GT, or even the 2.5 turbo? Which do you like better?
The Stinger is more sporty, this is more elegant. If your thing is sportiness, then pick the Stinger. If you're into elegance, go for the XF.

CLA? Aren't they two different classes?
CLA is just a fancy Mercedes A Class, whereas this XF competes with the E Class. I'd take this gorgeous XF over the CLA any day of the week.
There’s no universe I’d take one of these over a genesis G70, though I do like the touchscreen display on this car better, as well as the interior lighting. (at least it looks like there’s a few areas where there is blue ambient lighting?)

No way. The Germans have alot of different trims and options thats what causes the confusion. Jaguar doesn't have much options so base to base yes they're more expensive than the Germans. I saw a xe r dynamic at the dealer for 49k. A c300 amg sport and bmw 330 m sport is cheaper

How would compare it to the Alfa Romeo Gulia ti.
This is where they could have been a little bit more nuanced in their review. In a void, sure this is a great car. But the between the 3 series and especially the Giulia this thing falls way short. Less practical, less reliable, slower, not as much fun to drive and when compared to the Giulia just way worse in the looks department also.
For car screen responsive on maps, I felt it slow & late.
I'm torn between this and the new f-pace. I mean f-pace has that suv presence along with the same style language and interiors. But thiS has got that sleek and subtle feel to it that is just right to make a statement 😂

Look wise it looks similar to a 2018-2020 Genesis G80 sport with less power

G80 gives you more for about the same price, And it will be more reliable. XF With all the options goes to 71k$$. The G80 3.5T prestige is only 76k$$.

@@saberterminal871 The G80 won 2021 J.D power car of the year. I had a Hyundai sonata 2016 with 123k km and 0 issues. I would call that a very reliable car. Jaguar are notorious for being unreliable just like all the Germans cars.

Are you like 80% of German cars buyers who leased them for 3 years because they now they will break? And you are right i never owned one and i never will. I drive 40k km a year and i don't have extra money to fix an already expensive car. But my boss had. 2012 535i that he had to fix for 12k$. And the last one was 2016 750i that he had to fix for 16k$. He is driving a Genesis now. There is a reason why the Germans car ranked so low in consumer reports. I'm not saying that they are not good driving machines. They just tend to break faster.

C Class and 3 Series are in the same segment. XF's competition comprises E Class, 5 Series, A6. I chose the XF (X250, LCI, 2014) back in 2019, so my choice is XF.
