Still it is nice to see the Arc cards discussed as just another card and a very good overall video.
It’s in a weird spot. The 7600XT does gaming better with the same amount of vram (although smaller memory bus) for $30 more The 4060 excels better in stuff beyond video editing like AI and 3D modeling for the same price.
@@ScatterVolt actually in more and more comparison videos the A770 is virtually identical in performance to the AMD card and 40 dollars cheaper but your right it is (value wise) especially against the A750 and A580. Just built a beast with a 14900kf and 4090 to power my dual-UHD ultrawide monitor. I upgraded shit in the wrong order, haha. Was running on a 2080Ti with a ~10th gen intel i7, and that thing would SCREAM if I tried to run at native resolution even on low settings. Any time I would try to play a game in non-windowed mode *or* with a native resolution, it looked like I was playing a powerpoint presentation featuring scenes from that game. It was painful.
Currently running 5800x3d & 6800 @1440p. I’m happy with this setup. Im skip out on AM5. Upgrade to a 7900xt if/when I need to and I should be chillin for awhile until AM6 or even 7 comes out.
Running 5800x3d and rtx 4080 and I'm good for quite some time now. I chose the 5800x3d rather than investing in new motherboard, power supply, ram etc etc. Dropped in and boom, HUGE performance increase. I had a 3700x and a 1080 non TI.
Just replaced my RTX 3060 8GB with a AMD RX SWFT 319 6800. Leaps and bounds while paired with my I5-13400F, 600W PSU. Still learning as I’m new to PC gaming.

Hey scatterVolt, I saw u videos a ton of times I liked it oft times and I build pc because of you , but can you built a 3000€ gaming of please ? (2024)
I have 3080ti and i9-9900k, 16GB DDR4. GPU is very good, I have like 100+ fps with good graphics but when a lot of enemies appear like in Helldivers 2, my FPS frops to 40. Is it because of CPU? What should I buy to keep my stable 100+ fps? Sadly I built my PC in the end of 2021 so I paid $3k+ for this setup which sucks now.
If u run in 2k, your CPU wont follow ur GPU. You have around 18% of bottleneck because of it (knowing that 5% is considered as bottlenecking). So sadly for you, your CPU might be the problem. I9-9900k is a good CPU but not enough for a 2k on AAA games nowadays.
Just built my first PC last month from extensive knowledge from various websites and YT channels including yours, and I'm really satisfied of my PC. Thank you for your videos! Please keep making great contents!
I sadly have to RMA my XTX Nitro+. Nothing terrible wrong with it. The RGB stopped working on the GPU. It's a known problem and althon will be fixing it pronto. Still, it sucks not having my XTX for a couple weeks, as it is the best GPU I have owned when it comes to performance, aesthetics, and cooling. I guess ill be stealing my wifes 3070 for the times being lol. Great video as always.
I have more than 30 pc building videos in this week. 7 were from you. I think, the most informative ones were from you or ZTT. I personally like you better as you give off a homely friendly vibe😅
The “fanboy” PC Price “LOL-more money than brains.” 😂😂😂😂 But in all honesty, I’m looking to build a “high end” mainstream PC, so this video helped!! Thanks for the info!!!
4090 is 20-40% faster than the AMD flagship. It is extremely noticeable in FPS and ray tracing games. However, if you don't need the best and don't play competitively, why not AMD?
Who the hell needs a 4090 to play competitively? Every person playing Fortnite and Valorant can run those games at 300 fps regardless because they play on the lowest graphic settings possible. Also the 4090 is like 70% more expensive than the XTX
I've been binge watching your videos all day bro. The way you simplify the meaning of letters on CPUs and GPUs is really cool. And this combo video is amazing too. Thanks brother

I build your 2k pc couple weeks ago but replaced the 7900xtx with a 4080 super instead and this thing is niceeeee 4K max setting any game I love it only reason I went with 4080 super cause I caught a Best Buy restock and jumped on it
Awesome!!
Bro this vid is so FIRE, I love the way you explained what the "m" meant and how to future proof etc. W vid, just bought a 7500F
Glad it helped!
Got 7500F + 7900 GRE Pulse AMD 👍
@@wombatchelsea23I have 7500f with 6700xt but think of buying a 7800xt
@@christianaceves1408 go for 7900 GRE if you want to 1440p. 4K is ok too but most new games with fsr mod
Lol
That is a huge upgrade
Currently running 5800x3d & 6800 @1440p. I’m happy with this setup. Im skip out on AM5. Upgrade to a 7900xt if/when I need to and I should be chillin for awhile until AM6 or even 7 comes out.
You are well planned!
@@ScatterVolt haha we shall see. Only time will tell. Technology is always evolving.
Running 5800x3d and rtx 4080 and I'm good for quite some time now. I chose the 5800x3d rather than investing in new motherboard, power supply, ram etc etc. Dropped in and boom, HUGE performance increase. I had a 3700x and a 1080 non TI.
wtf this guy just predicted i skipped to 9.40 LMAO
Just replaced my RTX 3060 8GB with a AMD RX SWFT 319 6800. Leaps and bounds while paired with my I5-13400F, 600W PSU. Still learning as I’m new to PC gaming.
Amazing. I see no need to upgrade from that 6800 for a while!
I built my first PC last week and your tutorials were a big help! thank you!
Amazing! Thank you!
What are your specs?
I was just deciding on a 6800 pairing with a 7500f at 390 dollars, glad to hear the 6800 is a good value buy with 16gb vram to have me covered for the next few years at least
im just running the exact same combi since a week bro !!
The only 20+ minute pc build video i could watch without skipping forward. The content is gold 🤌🏼
Hello, I was wondering which pair I should get for gaming + content creation (streaming/recording) + other things (coding/rendering).
1. Ryzen 7 7800X3D + Radeon RX 7900 XT
2. Ryzen 9 7900X3D + 4070ti SUPER
3. Ryzen 7 7800X3D + 4070ti SUPER
4. Ryzen 9 7900X3D + Radeon RX 7900 XT
Go with the one I ultimately recommended in this video. Both GPU choices will excel in CC and Streaming.
@@ScatterVolt What would be the best brand for a Radeon RX 7900 XT?
Got me a ryzen 7500f for $130 with tax and a used 6800 for $260. Upgraded from a i5 9600kf and gtx 1660 super on my ultrawide. Life is good.
what about amd radeon rx 7600 and ryzen 7 5700x for 1080p
Great combo perfect for 1080p gaming
Got the 6800 for 370 €, because of youre advice and i love it!!!🙃
Incredible!

13100f + 3060ti fe doing well for me. 70 bucks cpu 230 bucks gpu - 2nd hand market
You played well. Nice!
@@ScatterVolt thank you man! i picked the 13100f because of the other cpu round up video you did (plus the price was too good not to)
Hey scatterVolt, I saw u videos a ton of times I liked it oft times and I build pc because of you , but can you built a 3000€ gaming of please ?
Take 4070ti super ddr6 16 gb
If u run in 2k, your CPU wont follow ur GPU. You have around 18% of bottleneck because of it (knowing that 5% is considered as bottlenecking). So sadly for you, your CPU might be the problem.
I9-9900k is a good CPU but not enough for a 2k on AAA games nowadays.
Hey Im building my first gaming PC I want to be able to most games at 120 or more fps 1440 I have a 2000 AUD budget
Get 7500F and 6600M best budget combo and wait for Rtx 5060 or Rx 8600 later on
You put too much faith in RTX 60 series GPUs my friend. They’ve been downhill since the 2060 lol.
i know this is a mistake but i play on 1080p with 7800x3d :D, i know i know, but my gpu is 2060 super :D
LESSSGOO 7800XT!! Real skibidi graphics card

Just built my first PC last month from extensive knowledge from various websites and YT channels including yours, and I'm really satisfied of my PC.
Thank you for your videos! Please keep making great contents!
What are your specs?
Really helpful! Was looking at 4070 super but now considering swapping to the rx7900 gre for the 16gb.
Ah
I have more than 30 pc building videos in this week. 7 were from you. I think, the most informative ones were from you or ZTT. I personally like you better as you give off a homely friendly vibe😅
Ah excellent haha. Thank you.
7700x or 7500f?
Depends on resolution brother. 1080p 7700x is worth it, for 1440p and higher 7500f is EXACTLY what you need.
What is 7500f?@@szybkacebula3167

glad you notice the rx 6800 😁
Thanks for another great vid Marc ❤ 7700XT even after the price cut has been on sale for $400-$410

On Amazon if you buy certain AMD products they will give you 2 games for free, I haven’t looked into what games are available though
True
I was thinking about buying the 4060 ti, you saved me! Great video!
I’m glad I did haha
What’s wrong with the 4060 ti
4090 is 20-40% faster than the AMD flagship. It is extremely noticeable in FPS and ray tracing games. However, if you don't need the best and don't play competitively, why not AMD?
Who the hell needs a 4090 to play competitively? Every person playing Fortnite and Valorant can run those games at 300 fps regardless because they play on the lowest graphic settings possible. Also the 4090 is like 70% more expensive than the XTX
@bruce000000070000000 2004 called and said they want their 1080p back. Come on down to 2024, it's 4k time.
@@danimal1743 Nobody is playing 4K competitively you moron
I've been binge watching your videos all day bro. The way you simplify the meaning of letters on CPUs and GPUs is really cool. And this combo video is amazing too. Thanks brother
Glad you like them!

is the ryzen 7700x and the radeon 7600xt a good combo? ive been researching for so long and cant find a good answer. im just trying to build my first pc. 😭

@@anonymous-lq2tp nice man, this system is a beast. been loving it. just remember the ram timing does take a while first boot up, so don't be surprised if it takes time.
@@DeadlyKiller54 Thanks for the heads up! Just to clarify, when you mention the RAM timing taking a while during the first boot, does that mean it will start at a lower frequency and then eventually hit 6000 MHz? Should I adjust any settings in the BIOS to make sure it runs at the right speed? Also, if you have any other suggestions or tips for setting up, that would be awesome-it’s been a long time since I’ve built a gaming desktop. Appreciate your help!
