Hey sorry to hear the troubles, I have some experience working on your generation Chevy. I fixed a truck for a guy that had the same problems, I traced it to the ignition switch being bad. All the power for all the electronics runs thru the ignition switch. Over time it wears out and becomes loose, which then causes the TCM to lose voltage . Replacing the ignition switch is super easy and cheap. I also replaced the key tumbler while I was there, he hasn’t had a problem since!
Great input ! Thanx ! Ive already replaced the ignition switch . Old one was pretty wore out . But didn't fix the problem. I told the dealership they owe after putting in the wrong tranny filter . They agreed ! So next week im dropping it off down ther . They can monkey around for a week with it .

Man im in the same boat with the tcm on my equinox. Computer reads can bus a no voltage. Yesterday my brother sent me the wiring diagram so my wire chasing started...can't win😢
Im really sick a all this computer garbage ! It felt good to drive a carburetor again yesterday . I can loose his mind on all this new crap ! Good luck my friend !
Fixed it fr 3 weeks . Then it started popping outta gear again . I ran into a cpl mechanics that said the abs module could kick tranny outta gear . So i just tried that yesterday . See wher it leads . After a 3 week fix . I thought bad new speed sensor . Bought another one . Instantly kicked outta gear with the second one . And it was oem from the dealership . Now im hopin the abs module fixed it . Tranny's fine . Its all this electronic garbage hooked to it
@theweldor757 you try to clean wire connector on passenger side of transmission, I guess it fills up with oil and starts the transmission to act up. just unplug and use electric cleaner, I believe there's a new seal or bring to change out too
@theweldor757 update on my quagmire, so I was going to change my neutral safety switch, I saw a connection hanging down unplugged, bell went off, found other side, plugged it in, found out plastic holder broke and connection was bouncing off u joint until it unplugged!!! shit luck, maybe I should get a lottery ticket!!! but all is working new again and no lights on!! I think it was low range speed sencor.
