Make a small trim tab for the skeg to keep the prop in the water. Bend it up or down to adjust. Your welcome.

What's the diameter on the weedeater shaft? Wondering if conduit would work. Can order replacement throttle controls/handles online. Great idea!

I'll have to look and see tomorrow we just got home from vacation but that is a good option with the conduit. (Update) I checked and the shaft is 25mm on the outside and it looks like 20mm on the inside hope that helps!
