  • Revisiting my old stomping grounds with an urban exploration of Vancouver in October. It's been quite some time since I've lived and paddled downtown. Reminds me of all the Ecomarine days taking tourists sea kayaking from Granville Island. Fun times!
The Granville Bridge opened in 1954 btw. Typo.

The epitome of a typical Vancouver fall paddle! I thoroughly enjoyed watching that.
I looks as though I'll be moving back to the Vancouver area in the next little while; I'd love to join you for some day trips like this one day and take some additional skills courses at JBK. I've currently got my PC L2, but could use some rolling clinics before I move onto L3.

LOOKING AT THE MISERABLE VANCOUVER WEATHER IN THIS VIDEO IT IS GIVING ME WEIRD FEELING LIKE I DO NOT MISS IT AT ALL...STRANGE FEELING THAT I CAN'T REALLY DESCRIBE IT...!!!

Yeah the rain takes a lot of getting used to. At least kayaking is a wet sport! ;-)

I love the rain. I returned here after decades away.
