Hi Bob, Peter here from Queensland, Aus. I am a great fan of your videos and the west coast of Scotland from a kayakers view point is superbly presented. I particularly enjoy your gentle and informative commenrtary. This trip was still a great adventure irrespective of the weather. As they say...no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing. Thanks again for highlighting the amazing kayaking nirvana of the Scottish inner Hebrides.
Thank you very much😁
Great video Bob, I too stayed 2 separate nights a Uags bothy sheltering from the rain on out Rassay / Rona trip.
Yea it's a nice spot
Another great video Bob thanks, my only complaint is it’s too short 😃
Thanks Alex, criticism like that I can take😂 I often get people say they are too long. I tend to try and keep them short, but it never really happens....
So happy to sit back with a cup of hot tea and join you and your friends on this adventure.
Rain or shine you guys are setting a great example of what kayaking is all about.
I'm not a kayaker, but your video's are a great inspiration, as I would like to give it a try.
Again, thank you for all your great video's.
Stay safe!
Thank you very much. Even better to hear a that a non kayaker is enjoying these. 😁
Superb - and a great insight into the roughing it no matter what the weather that happens behind the amazing paddling scenes 👍
Thanks Norman
That was excellent. Keep them coming. Feel free to post a longer version. This was a very relaxing watch.
Thank you very much... often people say they are too long, pleased your are enjoying...😁
Stunning Scenery and Wildlife , even the attempted Stow away. It must have been amazing getting that close to the Red Stags.
Thank you. The deer were fairly tame and apparently spent a lot of time in the village.
Thanks Bob, what a gem of a place! Much appreciate your videos, I'll come up at some stage when my kayaks ready....
Cheers, thank you. Yea it's a nice place for a weekend trip
Loved it. I'll be over there in about 5 years and you keep giving inspiration.
Thank you. Where do you live?
@@getwet501 Melbourne, Australia. We're looking at our 'big trip' and Scotland is top of our wish list.
This is a great kayak tour video. The scenery there is also very nice. If I get the chance, I would like to kayak there.
Thank you😀
I may be on a losing mission though!
I shared your video on Facebook. It was so interesting to see the whole peninsula from the coastline. I recognized the beach at Cuaig straight away. You were lucky with the weather 😊
Thank you. Yes indeed we were lucky with the weather. I agree you should keep spreading the message, next time I'm there I will be able to call it by it's proper name😁
Good content again. I really enjoy these and will watch all you can make. I also spotted the cairngorm 2 tent from this channel and bought it. Not used it yet cause it is winter in finland but looking forward to it.
Thank you. I'm sure you will enjoy the tent. I'm a big fan of mine
As for Torridon I’ve always wanted to go there - that was the name of the Stewart built and beautiful wooden Scorpion dinghy that I crewed in Ballyholme Dinghy Week back in ‘66
Great name for a boat😁
No such place as Applecross village + it is called Shore Street. The whole peninsula is Applecross.
Hi, thank you for correcting me😄. Every map I have puts the name Applecross by the village, hence my reference to Applecross village as I believe its commonly, if incorrectly called by those not in the know. Locals call it Shore street I now know, thanks for the insight,
It's 'peninsula' btw...
'Peninsular' is like what 'rectangular' is to 'rectangle'
I found this pretty funny because your accent tends to add an 'r' to many words that end with 'a' so i can see how you ended up making this mistake lol
Thanks, yea guess I should spell check things before posting... tancs 4 v inpuut🤣🤣
