- This is a better version of one my most popular videos to date. Looking back now, this video has not aged that well, the main problem being the pacing, there was way too much filler in this one, and out of place edits, like the montage and the annoying dubstep editing.
I started off by cutting that, along with some filler commentary, and the video became over 4 mins shorter. There was also some low-quality text which I fixed, and then I added some more memes, and redid some of the transitions and effects, like the river drying up, which I couldn't get to look as good as I wanted, since I no longer have the original recordings, but it's better now.
The beginning also had some lower quality audio, because I added some filters to my mic in the middle of the recordings back then, so I rerecorded the voiceover for that, and remixed the audio so your ears don't get blasted whenever there is an edit.
Long time viewers will probably prefer the original cut, and that's valid, the original is staying up, but for new viewers this is a better version.

I love kingdom rush. These are some advanced strats. I’ve never been able to make it through the entire game on normal mode with stars and heroes. I’m kinda bad so watching you play has been crazy to witness.
The best kr creator
I'm sure you already know this, but the best counter to Necromancers other than Tesla is Polymorph, since it ignores Skeletons and Skeleton Knights. So that would likely make this stuff a lot easier, as Sorcerer is also a really good base tower.
I might have never thought of this actually, or maybe I didn't do it because allowing the necromancer at wave 1 in the dark tower, to walk all the way down to the bottom, would cause to many skeletons to spawn. However it would definitely make the 6 necromancers much easier. Something to keep in mind if I wanna go for no lives lost on the dark tower.
Or on Forsaken Valley - I feel like it would be more useful there with the longer wait until Necromancers appear.
@@Mmlh1 totally yeah, I just hate playing that stage with these restrictions, so I ain't even going to try.
I am pretty sure I never tried it after thinking about it, because I played this when I first bought the game on steam, and that was before I knew that you could click the sheep, or I just forgot about it. It had been a while since I played the game at the time.

Tbh I always liked the old one because it was longer. I think my biggest gripe with you’re content is that it’s so good but the videos are only 10-15 minutes long 😭
But it didn't have to be that long, it was full of filler, and surely noone is going to miss the electronic music sections

I can't squeeze as much as I want in, the only way is to write more filler commentary, not a good solution, which is exactly why I made this shorter cut in the first place. I do upload full runs from some of my challenges, here I uploaded both the Dark Tower and Twin Rivers.

I have done six postgame levels with Ignus and no star upgrades, but I can't complete any more without lowering the difficulty, or beating them with less than 20 lives.

I’ve been attempting this challenge myself, but without reinforcements/meteors as well - do you think that’s plausible? Barracks micro lets you do a whole lot more than you might initially expect, but it just might be a numbers game that I can’t win.
If you are not trying to nll any of the stages then I would say maybe, but that's just a guess, it's been a while since I played this, but I remember the reinforcements helping a lot in the first few waves of each stage, but that was going for no lives lost on most of them. I think the wastes might be impossible, it's a struggle to just stay alive on that one.

@@maxfirewar4591 What cozynez said. Enemies won't move while they wait for barracks soldiers to come to them, so a level 1 barracks that you keep rally-pointing can heavily slow a large group of enemies.
Additionally, this is a great method for stacking up large clusters of enemies to be hit by artillery, since your soldiers will attempt to retarget enemies in the front of the pack causing them to bunch up.

Trying to do this challenge but the IPad version seems different. For example game 5 ‘silveroak forest’ has no level 4 Archer tower on iPad version.
Okay? The steam version has been ported to iOS, so they should be identical. You unlock the tower after you have played a few waves, could that be what you are missing?
