Both essentially did the same thing: "protecting" their kingdom by transforming it into a wasteland and the inhabitants into monsters. Indeed, Blackburn, Tristen and Umber are all ghosts, and they incidentally have werewolves and skeletons as part of their troops. The big difference is that in life, Lord Blackburn was far less of an evil person than the Diarchs of Varladul.
faustus soul got corrupted transforming him into bonehart, but he still helps alric to defeat umbra edit: in vegeance you can bring bonehart back as a easter egg

TH-cam algorithm brought me here. This video cleared up my confusions about the entire timeline of the Kingdom Rush series. Thought I'm still kinda curious about what happened to the corrupted Linirea's Gem after it fell to the hands of Sha'tra *(And also how did Sha'tra managed to get it in his hands in the first place).* I'm not saying that Sha'tra is a bad guy but seeing how Faustus still haven't returned back into good *(I presume)* nor the Gem still haven't purified back into its original sky blue color appearance made me kinda skeptical about Sha'tra *(Note: I'm not familiar with Iron Marines Invasion's story and lore)*
There needs to be a KR Villains: Evil to Most Evil list. Pretty sure Lord Blackburn could be considered as "actually good?"/"least evil" thanks to his backstory. J.T. as well since he's literally just a big dumb yeti who was hungry, and likely wasn't even allied with Vez'nan.
I hope a mangaka picks up on this story and we get manga version with this story as it's mainframe and other characters in Manga style as we had in fate
Good, tlreally good. But one mistake: Jack was not fighting with denas forces. No. He was one of the generals of Tristan and Umber, the Diarchs of Valardul (which became gosts by ritual performed by Clan of Warlocks.). He was very ancient guy, much older than denas, as his kings became that gosts. With lattters Vez'nan made a second deal, about undead army. Moreover, u didn't mentioned about Hammer of ages. Hammer had a special power, gifted by gods - the being created by tgis hammer can be breaken only with it. Umbra was captured and encaged by Legendary creator of hammer (forgot his name). Thus, Malagar needed it to break the crystal cage, and needed the power of Crystal to awoke sleeping Umbra (as crystal has a god-measured power) . The Evil power of staff was enfused into umbra and awoke it. Still the crystal is more powerful than Umbra. Then, Vez'nan is not Moloch (wtf, bro?) he is the Demon lord, which gaved Vez'nan the control of demons in exchange of his soul.

Some of the people who fled after Vez'nan took over Liniera finds an ancient relic capable of summoning a dragon. What they don't know is that they aren't powerful enough to command it and if it reaches his full power the whole realm is doomed. So you have to kill the dragon before it regains his power.

All of this is a lot more similar to Tolkien's Middle Earth lore than I expected, which makes it imo even better.
