I agree with a lot of it. I didn’t like that it didn’t show you if you beat it on harder modes, so like why? It didn’t matter if I beat it on casual or impossible

Imagine if they just not release the game until they cooked up most of the future content for the next 2-3 years Each time they release a new game, it’s automatically inferior to the previous versions cause it’s literally not finished yet. I like the game but man I can’t recommend it to new players at all. Competition is fierce compared to the early days

Frontiers and the first is deally difficult even if you have the best heroes, Vengeance & Alliance significantly becomes easier if you buy the dragons and towers. Alliance is my favorite cause of Obvious reasons

I love kingdom rush and when I play the demo of vengeance I felt something was off, and I just didn't buy it at first, I'm playing now and I find it ok, but not near as good as the others

personally it’s my favourite of the series, i felt the load out crafting with the towers was super engaging and the enemy and level mechanics were more creative and fun

When you said "you have to beat the campaign... Flash style", I got such an ego boost lmao

My only issues with it are no endless modes, unfair tower placements, and the fact that you have to buy it to get it on your phone. My favorites of kingdom rush vengeance are the diverse towers and the Campaign Final boss where you have to face 3 paragons while making sure the arch demon still lives. Luckily i downloaded a hacked version of Kingdom rush vengeance on happy mod in mobile.

A bit late but the fact that you can 1 shot the boss with power just take away the fun

Alliance is like the better vengeance, but think of it like a seethrough bandaid, or perhaps even just a piece of scotch tape over an infected wound, it’s become clear that ironhide has tarnished the former quality of their games, Alliance is definitely a step in the right direction, but it honestly felt lackluster, the new lore wasnt all that great, and the worldbuilding was nothing compared to the trilogy, i’d still play it over vengeance though.

when i say the wasn't hard i mean it cuz i struggled on origins causal and never beat frontiers on normal yet i beat this game veteran with very few retry's

I remember when I first found out Kingdom Rush had an app and wasn't just a flash game I randomly found anymore and the heros were so fun. I can't imagine the game without them now.

I felt kinda the same way about Alliance. For me, I think it was my own fault in that I had hoped/expected too much from it and even though the game is fine, it doesn't do anything super intriguing. I mean, how can it? By the time you release your 5th tower defense game in a series, you have kind of exhausted all of the really interesting possibilities. There are some new ideas in there, but they don't shake the game to its core to revitalize the love for the series

I have one or two major problems with vengeance and alliance too. Like everyone, I miss the encyclopedia so much since it was so thrilling to unlock all the enemy icons, kinda like a collector's pleasure. But I also miss the old drawing style of the game, which was more cosy and unique imo

i think you may have done this at the time in which the orc barracks damage upgrade didn't work so it was wasting your money.

Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance felt easier than all the previous titles. I'm not sure if it's because I've played all the other titles and completing all Iron and Heroic challenge. Now, with two heroes and their skills, it feels less about strategic tower positioning and more like an RTS gameplay scenario. I miss the superior range of the archer tower. The music isn't helping much, and the story feels forced despite the twist at the end. I beat level 15 in Veteran mode with only rocket gunners and got three stars no problem. Also, there's still no endless mode available yet.

I honestly loved Vengeance, alliance is just boring imo. It’s all mage, too many flying mobs and the game is too easy.

they had ONE job .... just keep stuff from the old games that already did it great instead of just scrapping it for new random bullsh1t same with alliance the newest game.. like literally even if they added 0 new stuff most people would be happy aslong as they aren't taking stuff away and there is enough content (cough cough Alliance)

The biggest disappointment is this game... I mean, I would never expect such a lazy sloppy game. It is short, no new features, we did not get an endless level again and I finished it in 6 hours. Thumbs down
