My hair was shoulder length and I damaged it by doing multiple self keratin treatments. It broke off and I had to have it all cut off 😭 I have to begin all over again. It has been 3 months now and GOD gave me a secret! HOT OIL TREATMENTS(weekly).
When it comes to hot oil treatments do you just apply to the scalp or your whole head? Also does anyone have any suggestions for good hair oils for the treatments?
@@ceosiss7401 You should find out what works best for your hair by trial & error. Oils that usually works for all hair is Olive oil but again you need to do your research and find what works for your hair. Hot oil treatments ar3 usually applied before washing the hair like a pre-poo You may seem to have the same hair texture & density with someone but your climates are different etc….
Have you thought about cornrows your natural hair (after a good trim to rid damage). Moisturize and oil it and undo your braids in one month! Hair in Hair syndrome is REAL!
@@ceosiss7401 I wash my hair, semi dry and it the oil on my scalp and hair. I then it on a clear conditioning cap/thin shower cap/ baggee etc under the dryer for 30 minutes(yes.. it will get 🥵 hot.. turn it down a little.. then I wash out the oil with a little shampoo.. and do my LOC or LCO. I use olive oil or avocado oil.. some people swear by coconut oil. To daily moisturize (and my shampoo and conditioner).. I use Hawaiian Silky 14-1, it moisturizes AND feels sooooo good on my scalp and the price is good too! I get it from Sally’s.
@@ceosiss7401 The oil should be mildly hot. Don’t burn your scalp girl! I put the oil in a small bowl and then set it in another slightly larger bowl(both bowls MUST be able to withstand hot temperatures! I pour hot water in the larger bowl to heat the oil in the smaller bowl.
My ends are a little off as of now but hot oil treatment and a bonnet will save me. It's long, don't get me wrong, but this little standstill is crazy.
