@@JAWSMUNCH304 they are like better whistlers they can get very opressive in numbers but are weak to mass medium tanks wich legion has a hard time countering in my opinion.
Quite a lot of napalm units here. I imagine they're good for base-attacking raids, but I wouldn't want to have them on a front-line push, because it looks like you'd take about as much damage from friendly-fire (pardon the pun) as you walk forward into your own wall of flame.
I think your just confused on how the units work. This is 4 months old and your a much better player then me but, the mantis is great for flanking bonuses and los, other then that it's bad. Those 2 things alone though should make it good in every comp. T1 bots are lacking but the krinkos with the shield is great for tanking damage, the phanlax is just better I'm everyway. Aoe more health 50% less damage is huge and that shield regenerates after about 10 seconds. The Helios tank is better then both light tanks. But Im pretty sure 4 months has passed by and know how legion works alot better now. They seem to be the tactical faction witch I hope is the goal. Also the strider and quick shot are kinda broken.
They have recently rebalanced all of the legion units more which has shifted the best units around quite a bit. I’m still messing with them as they are now and would like to make an update on where legion is at currently
Are their bots better than tanks? Been trying to figure out bots vs tanks for legion. I tried air yesterday and failed miserably LOL, legion air seems meh
There air has some very strong units and some very weak units. I find that seems to be how it is with all legion units currently. Bots are mostly weaker vehicles has mostly stronger t3 50/50
In the advanced settings when you host a server you can click on experimental settings. Under experimental you will find this infamous legion to toggle on
Honestly disagree on the Karkinos, I think it is overpowered. Its so freakin' tanky with that shield, I took out a BARbarian ai's whole base with like 3-4 of them no support, no losses. Felt like a T2 unit to me, it's base assaulting capabilities are ridiculously strong.
Sorry, review this vid 2/10 star. Not enough homework done for vid. No appreciation for any front-line unit that can do its job decently. Goblin might 1v1 a grunt? XD nah I think they even lose 2v1. Goblin is complete trash. Its not fast enough to be a proper raider, but still has the health of a raider. Same story for basically all t1 bots. Health and cost of a raider, but no speed or LOS on any available unit means you always get ambushed while attempting raids. Being weaker and trash LOS with low move speed is basically insurmountable in an even ELO. Leg vehicles is the only real option ESPECIALLY with the earliest raid potential. Also Helios is GREAT light tank. incisor is good, Helios even better at this role. The leg eco quirk means that com can starting build order 3mex > 2 wind > factory > 2 rover > and easily raid and com walk with whatever they want to follow with, especially if followup 2 more rover after squeezing out a constructor. I favor a build order like 2rover > 1 con > *2 rover (1con > 1-2 helios) repeat up to ~4 con and helios > mass decurion production with maaaybe some lance (railgun) for llt sniping and pressure, but most of the time you will likely be better off just face tanking and repairing with com until you are ready for t2, or napalm tanks if you suspect opponents repairs will be excessive (especially radar-jammed repairs) Maybe switch to early Decurion production(the gatling tank) {i had to look it up} depending on what you see. *=especially optional How it works: The first 2 rovers will arrive in record time, probably before opponent even has their factory up if on a small map (due to needing more E before starting) with decent control you will be able to kite com and get 2 mexes and/or enough energy to completely stall any production, and/or the lab itself depending on com movement and layout. Eventually the com will probably manage to get an llt and enough energy to power it and production, and rebuild any destroyed mexes. But by then your Helios have arrived, they use their extended range to snipe the mex clusters the LLT is trying to protect without needing to fight it. Slowing them yet again before they even get their feet under them. Then the gatling tanks hit the front and can easilly smash any llts especially-especially if its 2v1 and/or have repair support. The gats are ~worse against air than a whistler, but still have decent AA and massed will have no issue with any air switches, while having so much pushback and sudo splash that swarms of pawns won't likely get high enough numbers to get in reach, and still have enough strength to cause problems. 10/10 OP 1st tier unit. Like any Com push your constructors fill in behind with early con turret, backfill of mexes and E production. Com builds mexes, llts and radar along the push path, then repairs and maintains frontline. If you feel like it you can even pull a con for frontline to build a cacophony (gatling turret) as it should outrange rocket bots and assist against air while having solid dps, or build popups if your more worried about enemy arty/mass ground pushes. Build a hive (drone pad) and possibly set it to 'roam' anywhere cliffs makes radar unfavorable, or anywhere you want vision for medusa/other ranged units. Great at gumming up raids too. You either have an unusually effective early harass or have sacrificed like 52 Metal which doesn't mean much, you go into a balanced standard build order and have high pressure before they are comfortably established. The extra map controll will help balance the extra mexes you need and then some. You can wreck 100% eco boosted bots, and probably players quite easily with how early Leg veh pushes hit, and how strong they follow up. If you let them get established though, your arty equivalent is low damage and no splash, so you will struggle if they prevent you from being able to cycle charge their arty, or flank your slow army effectively. But as long as you don't let raiders faster than your defending helios get past them and the llts you should be in a strong position. So keep a strong radar grid. Both the gatling tank and turret if properly positioned should shut down all but the most determined raids IF they are in position beforehand. *Note: the Cortex rover that legion has access to has similar dps and half the cost of the Alaris, so using the Alaris instead would slow the raid a bit, with the only benifit being the increased hp. If legion looses access to the rover this raid tactic will still work, but be slightly slowed.
Lance slows down the enemy when hit. makes it very strong with napalm when you have a lot of them
Ok I haven’t used them as much as the other tanks. Do you find them to be decent against arm and cor?

Do you happen to remember what the shield buffs the health to on the karkinos?
umm air exists and navy
Air has been largely changed compared to the time of making this video but I believe naval for legion is still not created?

Very helpful breakdown to early harassment. I haven’t had a chance to try early harassment with Legion yet. I look forward to giving this a shot.
